光參量振蕩器和光參量放大器實(shí)現(xiàn)窄譜寬中紅外激光輸出

【摘要】:高增益和抽運(yùn)光譜寬等因素會(huì)使光參量振蕩器輸出的參量光譜線大幅展寬。通常在腔內(nèi)插入標(biāo)準(zhǔn)具、光柵等元件以控制譜寬,但會(huì)引入損耗,導(dǎo)致激光器輸出閾值增大,轉(zhuǎn)換效率和輸出功率降低。報(bào)道了一種不使用任何譜寬壓縮元件獲得窄譜寬高功率中紅外激光輸出的方案。該方案將窄譜寬和高功率分離,分別獲取。搭建了1.064μmNd…YAG主振蕩功率放大結(jié)構(gòu)的窄譜寬抽運(yùn)源。通過調(diào)節(jié)光參量振蕩器中PPMgLN晶體內(nèi)的抽運(yùn)光功率和光斑直徑,實(shí)現(xiàn)晶體內(nèi)增益強(qiáng)度的控制,從而有效控制中紅外激光譜寬。在光參量振蕩器中,當(dāng)抽運(yùn)光功率約為3倍閾值時(shí),獲得了0.7 W、譜寬小于1.12nm的2.9μm種子光,再通過兩級(jí)光參量放大器后,最終獲得6.27W、光光轉(zhuǎn)換效率15.7%的2.9μm激光輸出,譜寬基本保持不變。
[Abstract]:High gain and pump spectrum width will cause the output parametric spectrum of optical parametric oscillator to widen greatly. The standard device, grating and other elements are usually inserted into the cavity to control the spectral width, but the loss is introduced, which leads to the increase of the laser output threshold and the decrease of the conversion efficiency and output power. A scheme for obtaining a narrow spectral width and high power mid-infrared laser without any spectral-width compression element is reported in this paper. In this scheme, narrow spectrum width and high power are separated and obtained respectively. A 1.064 渭 m ND. Narrow spectral width pumping source of YAG main oscillation power amplifier. The gain intensity of the PPMgLN crystal is controlled by adjusting the pump power and the diameter of the spot in the optical parametric oscillator, so as to effectively control the width of the infrared excitation spectrum in the crystal. In the optical parametric oscillator (OPO), when the pump power is about 3 times the threshold, 0.7W is obtained, and the spectral width is less than 2.9 渭 m of the 1.12nm. After passing through the two-stage optical parametric amplifier, 6.27W is obtained. The spectral width of 2.9 渭 m laser with 15.7% optical conversion efficiency is basically unchanged.
