Bragg光纖包層制作誤差對導(dǎo)模特性的影響

【摘要】:對Bragg光纖中包層制造誤差對導(dǎo)模特性的影響進行了深入的分析和研究,給出了一般N層波導(dǎo)中模式場標量波動方程求解的傳輸矩陣方法,并將其應(yīng)用在Bragg光纖模式場的分析當(dāng)中。分別研究了Bragg包層存在折射率誤差和厚度誤差時對光纖基模模式場的有效折射率、模場半徑和芯區(qū)功率占比的影響,并利用統(tǒng)計的方法分析了不同制作誤差時導(dǎo)模特性的相對變化。折射率誤差在1‰的水平時,基模有效折射率、模場半徑和芯區(qū)功率占比的方差水平為1.55×10~(-4)、1.04×10~(-1)和1.79×10~(-2);厚度誤差在2%的水平時模式場參量的方差水平分別為3.61×10~(-5)、1.84×10~(-2)和2.35×10~(-3)。
[Abstract]:In this paper, the influence of cladding manufacturing error on conduction mode in Bragg fiber is deeply analyzed and studied, and the transfer matrix method for solving scalar wave equation of mode field in general N layer waveguide is presented. It is applied to the analysis of Bragg fiber mode field.
