基于VIP的AMBA總線IP核評測方法

【摘要】:現(xiàn)代SoC設(shè)計過程中要集成大量IP核,而IP核在集成到系統(tǒng)之前必須進行評測,以確保其功能的正確性.VIP是可復(fù)用的驗證模塊,同時也可以為待評測的設(shè)計創(chuàng)建直接測試場景和測試序列.提出了采用VIP模型開發(fā)IP核評測平臺的方法,搭建了基于VIP模型的AMBA總線IP核評測平臺,通過監(jiān)視器可監(jiān)測IP核是否出現(xiàn)違反總線協(xié)議的情況,仿真結(jié)束后會給出詳細(xì)的總線傳輸報告.利用該評測平臺對AES加密算法IP核進行了評測,驗證了IP核評測平臺的有效性和實用性.
[Abstract]:In the process of modern SoC design, a large number of IP cores must be integrated, and IP cores must be evaluated before they are integrated into the system to ensure the correctness of their functions. VIPs are reusable verification modules. Direct test scenarios and test sequences can also be created for the design to be tested. The method of developing IP core evaluation platform with VIP model is put forward, and a AMBA bus IP core evaluation platform based on VIP model is built. The monitor can monitor whether IP core violates bus protocol. The detailed bus transmission report will be given after the simulation. The IP core of AES encryption algorithm is evaluated by the platform, and the validity and practicability of the IP core evaluation platform are verified.
