【摘要】：槽波導(dǎo)可以很好的將光限制在低折射率槽中,所以在非線性光學(xué)、微納光學(xué)傳感、光子學(xué)器件等領(lǐng)域都有重要的應(yīng)用潛力。本文首先對照平板槽波導(dǎo)中的四種模式,對不同參數(shù)的三維槽波導(dǎo)中的模式進(jìn)行了求解,證明在三維槽波導(dǎo)中同樣存在cosh型、sinh型、cos型和sin型四種模式。然后,我們計(jì)算分析了三維槽波導(dǎo)的結(jié)構(gòu)參數(shù)對其模式特性的影響規(guī)律,分析了結(jié)構(gòu)參數(shù)對模式數(shù)量和限制因子的影響。最后,我們構(gòu)造了求解三維槽波導(dǎo)的有效折射率法,并將該方法與用有限元法求解的結(jié)果進(jìn)行了對比,分析了有效折射率法誤差的主要來源。本文工作可為更好地了解和利用槽波導(dǎo)提供有益的參考。
[Abstract]:Slot waveguides can be well confined to low refractive index grooves, so they have important application potential in nonlinear optics, micro and nano optical sensing, photonics devices and so on. In this paper, the modes of three dimensional grooves with different parameters are solved in comparison with the four modes in planar grooves. It is proved that there are also four modes of cosh and sin in three dimensional grooves. Then, we calculate and analyze the influence of the structure parameters on the mode characteristics, and analyze the influence of the structural parameters on the number of modes and the limiting factors. Finally, we construct an effective refractive index method for 3D grooved waveguides, and compare the results of the method with that of the finite element method, and analyze the main sources of errors in the effective refractive index method. This work can provide a useful reference for better understanding and utilization of slot waveguides.
