【摘要】:長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵由于具有制作成本低、精度易控制,沒有后向反射,對(duì)多個(gè)環(huán)境參量敏感等優(yōu)點(diǎn),在多種光器件的制作中發(fā)揮著重要的作用,一直以來(lái)都是光通信和光傳感等領(lǐng)域的研究熱點(diǎn)之一。 級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵作為長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的特殊形式,其透射譜和單個(gè)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵透射譜相比控制更加靈活,具有更為廣泛的應(yīng)用前景。本論文從理論研究和仿真分析兩個(gè)方面開展了重疊級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的特性及應(yīng)用研究,所取得的主要進(jìn)展及完成工作如下: (1)從光纖的基本理論出發(fā),利用三層介質(zhì)光纖模型,對(duì)重疊級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的纖芯模和包層模的有效折射率及耦合常數(shù)進(jìn)行了求解,分析了重疊級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的模式耦合原理,進(jìn)而利用數(shù)值模擬得到了重疊級(jí)聯(lián)兩個(gè)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的透射譜。 (2)分析了重疊級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的帶阻濾波特性,通過實(shí)驗(yàn)仿真探討了纖芯模和包層模的耦合常數(shù)、用于級(jí)聯(lián)的長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的周期及光柵長(zhǎng)度對(duì)濾波性能的影響,為優(yōu)化設(shè)計(jì)重疊級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵參數(shù),實(shí)現(xiàn)理想的帶阻濾波性能提供了一定的指導(dǎo)。 (3)研究了重疊級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的環(huán)境折射率探測(cè)特性,分析了長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的諧振波長(zhǎng)與光柵周期的關(guān)系。研究結(jié)果表明諧振波長(zhǎng)位置不同,其隨環(huán)境折射率變化而發(fā)生漂移的方向也不同。優(yōu)化設(shè)計(jì)了包層模次及對(duì)應(yīng)諧振波長(zhǎng)的選擇,實(shí)現(xiàn)重疊級(jí)聯(lián)長(zhǎng)周期光纖光柵的高靈敏度環(huán)境折射率的測(cè)量,研究結(jié)果表明其環(huán)境折射率在1.3~1.42區(qū)間的檢測(cè)靈敏度高達(dá)546nm/RIU~2187nm/RIU。
[Abstract]:Long period fiber grating (LPFG) plays an important role in the fabrication of many optical devices due to its advantages of low cost, easy control of precision, no backward reflection, sensitivity to many environmental parameters, and so on. It has always been one of the research hotspots in the field of optical communication and optical sensing. As a special form of long-period fiber grating, cascaded long-period fiber grating has a more flexible control of transmission spectrum than a single long-period fiber grating, and has a more extensive application prospect. In this thesis, the characteristics and applications of overlapping cascaded long-period fiber gratings are studied from two aspects: theoretical research and simulation analysis. The main progress and the work accomplished are as follows: 1) based on the basic theory of fiber, the effective refractive index and coupling constant of core mode and cladding mode of overlapping cascaded long-period fiber grating are solved by using three-layer dielectric fiber model. The mode coupling principle of overlapping cascaded long-period fiber gratings is analyzed, and the transmission spectra of overlapping cascaded long-period fiber gratings are obtained by numerical simulation. (2) the band-stop filtering characteristics of overlapping cascaded long-period fiber gratings are analyzed. The coupling constants of core mode and cladding mode are discussed through experimental simulation. The period of cascaded long-period fiber gratings and the influence of grating length on filtering performance are discussed. It provides some guidance for optimizing the design parameters of overlapping cascaded long-period fiber gratings and realizing the ideal band-stop filtering performance. The environmental refractive index detection characteristics of overlapped cascaded long-period fiber gratings are studied. The relationship between the resonant wavelength of long-period fiber gratings and the grating period is analyzed. The results show that the position of resonant wavelength is different and the drift direction is different with the change of environmental refractive index. The selection of cladding modes and corresponding resonant wavelengths is optimized to measure the highly sensitive ambient refractive index of overlapping cascaded long-period fiber gratings. The results show that the detection sensitivity of the ambient refractive index is as high as 546nm / r RIU2187nmP RIU in the range of 1.3nm1.42.
