保偏光纖應(yīng)力傳感及保偏光纖薩格奈克干涉儀研究

【摘要】:保偏光纖在光纖通信傳感領(lǐng)域有著廣泛的運(yùn)用,它既可以當(dāng)做傳輸元件,也可以成為傳感元件;作為傳輸元件,它表現(xiàn)出良好的偏振保持能力;作為傳感元件,它廣泛運(yùn)用于分布式應(yīng)力傳感器、光纖陀螺儀、光纖電流互感器等光纖傳感領(lǐng)域,研究它的傳輸、傳感特性有著重要的意義;本文研究了外應(yīng)力作用下,保偏光纖的應(yīng)力傳感特性和保偏光纖薩格奈克干涉儀的穩(wěn)定性;本文的研究成果和創(chuàng)新點(diǎn)總結(jié)如下(1)從彈性力學(xué)出發(fā),求解了側(cè)應(yīng)力作用下,光纖橫截面的應(yīng)力分布,并根據(jù)彈光效應(yīng)得到其折射率分布,進(jìn)一步得出應(yīng)力與光纖雙折射的數(shù)值關(guān)系;(2)考慮保偏光纖固有雙折射大,外應(yīng)力的坐標(biāo)系與固有雙折射的坐標(biāo)系不一致,通過(guò)求取折射率矩陣的對(duì)角矩陣,得到外應(yīng)力與保偏光纖拍長(zhǎng)、雙折射軸向的數(shù)值關(guān)系;(3)自制擠壓機(jī)構(gòu),完成保偏光纖應(yīng)力傳感實(shí)驗(yàn),可以測(cè)量應(yīng)力大小和方向;(4)將以上理論用于推導(dǎo)外應(yīng)力干擾時(shí),保偏光纖薩格奈克干涉儀的輸出信號(hào),分析了保偏光纖抗干擾性能,并通過(guò)實(shí)驗(yàn)驗(yàn)證
[Abstract]:Polarization-maintaining fiber (PMF) is widely used in the field of optical fiber communication sensing. It can be used as both a transmission element and a sensing element. As a transmission element, it shows good polarization retention ability. As a sensing element, it is widely used in the field of distributed stress sensors, fiber optic gyroscopes, optical fiber current transformers and other optical fiber sensors. It is of great significance to study its transmission and sensing characteristics. In this paper, the stress sensing characteristics of polarization-maintaining fiber and the stability of the polarization-maintaining fiber Sager Naik interferometer are studied under the action of external stress. The results and innovations of this paper are summarized as follows: 1) based on the elastic mechanics, the stress distribution of the fiber cross section under lateral stress is solved, and the refractive index distribution is obtained according to the elasto-optical effect. The numerical relationship between stress and fiber birefringence is obtained. 2) considering the inherent birefringence of polarization maintaining fiber, the coordinate system of external stress and inherent birefringence is inconsistent, and the external stress and beat length of polarization maintaining fiber are obtained by obtaining the diagonal matrix of refractive index matrix. The numerical relation of birefringence axis; (3) Self-made extrusion mechanism, which can measure the magnitude and direction of stress, through the experiment of polarization-maintaining fiber stress sensing. 4) applying the above theory to deduce the external stress interference, the output signal of the polarization maintaining fiber Sager Naik interferometer is analyzed, and the anti-interference performance of the polarization maintaining fiber is analyzed.
