[Abstract]:Experts from the Moscow Institute of Dynamics analyzed the effects of climate factors and the Earth's surface environment on reducing the noise level of power generation equipment, according to a July 2013 issue. Climate factors and the earth surface environment have a very important impact on reducing the noise level of power generation equipment. The noise level of the same noise source from the same point depends on the temperature and humidity. In this case, the effect of atmospheric pressure can be ignored. The variation of temperature and humidity in one year leads to the change of sound level of the same noise source at the calculated point. When the distance from the noise source increases, the range of noise level caused by climate factors will increase. The variation of sound pressure level with humidity and temperature depends on the geometric average frequency and the distance from the noise source to the calculated point. In the case of high frequency and large distance, the noise attenuation caused by the sound absorption of the atmosphere can reach 10 decibels or even 100 decibels, and at low frequencies, the noise attenuation values can reach 10 decibels or even 100 decibels.
