低功耗、寬輸入范圍的單片式LDO設(shè)計(jì)

【摘要】:電子技術(shù)的飛速發(fā)展使得便攜式電子設(shè)備廣泛普及,相應(yīng)的電源管理技術(shù)也得到了前所未有的發(fā)展。作為電源管理產(chǎn)品中非常重要的一員,低壓差線性穩(wěn)壓器(Low Dropout Regulator,LDO)因?yàn)槠涔ぷ麟妷旱、輸出噪聲低、輸出紋波小、體積小以及應(yīng)用電路簡單等特點(diǎn)而得到了廣泛應(yīng)用。尤其是在一些低功耗、低噪聲、高精度和低成本的應(yīng)用中,LDO具有非常廣闊的前景。本文設(shè)計(jì)了一款具有低功耗以及寬輸入電壓范圍等特點(diǎn)的LDO芯片。該芯片空載時(shí)靜態(tài)電流僅為2.12μA,全負(fù)載范圍內(nèi)輸入電壓范圍是3.4V~24V,輸出電壓固定為2.5V,最大輸出電流可達(dá)到80mA,并且無需外接電容即可保持系統(tǒng)環(huán)路穩(wěn)定。此外,芯片內(nèi)部集成了過流保護(hù)功能,采用恒定電流限和折返電流限相結(jié)合的方式對(duì)芯片進(jìn)行過流保護(hù)。在芯片內(nèi)部電路中,帶隙運(yùn)放(將帶隙基準(zhǔn)和誤差放大器集成到一起)電路和折返電流限電路是主要特點(diǎn)。該芯片可為超低功耗微控制器和手持式電子設(shè)備等用電系統(tǒng)提供良好的電源解決方案。由于所設(shè)計(jì)的LDO芯片沒有獨(dú)立的基準(zhǔn)電壓源電路,而在絕大多數(shù)LDO芯片中基準(zhǔn)電壓源都是單獨(dú)出現(xiàn)的一個(gè)重要模塊,因此有必要進(jìn)行基準(zhǔn)電壓源的設(shè)計(jì)。同時(shí)也為了適應(yīng)無電阻的設(shè)計(jì)趨勢,本文設(shè)計(jì)了一種適用于無電阻LDO以及SoC(System on Chip)中的連續(xù)輸出全集成開關(guān)電容電壓基準(zhǔn)電路。這是一個(gè)輸出電壓為323mV的低壓輸出亞帶隙基準(zhǔn),其在-20℃~80℃溫度范圍內(nèi)的溫度系數(shù)為15.4ppm/℃。本文首先介紹LDO的相關(guān)背景知識(shí),再簡述LDO的基本原理,接下來介紹所設(shè)計(jì)的LDO的主要性能指標(biāo)、系統(tǒng)架構(gòu)和一些主要模塊的設(shè)計(jì)考慮,緊接著給出具體電路和仿真結(jié)果,最后介紹一種無電阻的連續(xù)輸出全集成開關(guān)電容電壓基準(zhǔn)電路。本文采用0.35μm BCD(Bipolar、CMOS和DMOS)工藝,使用Hspice軟件對(duì)電路進(jìn)行了仿真驗(yàn)證。各項(xiàng)仿真結(jié)果表明,本文所設(shè)計(jì)的LDO芯片達(dá)到了預(yù)期的設(shè)計(jì)指標(biāo),開關(guān)電容電壓基準(zhǔn)電路也具有良好的性能。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of electronic technology, portable electronic equipment has been widely spread, and the corresponding power management technology has been unprecedented development. As a very important member of power management products, Low Dropout regulator (LDO) has been widely used because of its low voltage, low output noise, small output ripple, small volume and simple application circuit, especially in some low power consumption, low noise, etc. In high precision and low cost applications, LDO has a very broad prospect. In this paper, a LDO chip with low power consumption and wide input voltage range is designed. The static current of the chip is only 2.12 渭 A when it is no load, and it is in the full load range. The input voltage ranges from 3.4 V to 24 V, the output voltage is fixed at 2.5 V, the maximum output current is up to 80 Ma, and the system loop is stable without external capacitance.
