【摘要】：組織冗余可以為企業(yè)有效緩沖環(huán)境不確定性,但持有過多的組織冗余需要付出成本,因此企業(yè)需要持有合理的組織冗余。筆者從環(huán)境包容性和環(huán)境動態(tài)性兩個維度探索了環(huán)境不確定性對于企業(yè)組織冗余持有水平的影響機制,以及高管特征對環(huán)境不確定性與組織冗余二者關系的調節(jié)作用;利用397家中國A股制造業(yè)上市公司面板數(shù)據(jù)進行了實證檢驗。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):環(huán)境包容性對組織冗余有顯著的負向影響;環(huán)境動態(tài)性對組織冗余有顯著的正向影響;高管特征正向調節(jié)了環(huán)境不確定性與組織冗余之間的關系,這在實證層面上解釋了客觀環(huán)境不確定性與認知環(huán)境不確定性存在差異的原因。我們的結論揭示了組織冗余的產(chǎn)生機制,有助于厘清組織冗余與企業(yè)戰(zhàn)略的關系。筆者基于研究結論認為:企業(yè)應該根據(jù)環(huán)境不確定性程度來調整組織冗余的持有水平,同時還要警惕高管個人認知對真實的環(huán)境不確定出現(xiàn)認知偏差,導致企業(yè)不能有效應對環(huán)境變化。
[Abstract]:Organizational redundancy can effectively buffer the uncertainty of the environment, but holding too much organizational redundancy needs to pay the cost, so enterprises need to hold reasonable organizational redundancy. From the two dimensions of environmental inclusiveness and environmental dynamics, the author explores the influence mechanism of environmental uncertainty on the level of organizational redundancy, and the regulatory role of executive characteristics on the relationship between environmental uncertainty and organizational redundancy. Using the panel data of 397 Chinese A-share manufacturing companies, the paper makes an empirical test. The results show that: environmental inclusiveness has a significant negative impact on organizational redundancy, environmental dynamics has a significant positive impact on organizational redundancy; Executive characteristics positively regulate the relationship between environmental uncertainty and organizational redundancy, which explains the difference between objective environmental uncertainty and cognitive environmental uncertainty. Our conclusion reveals the mechanism of organizational redundancy and helps to clarify the relationship between organizational redundancy and enterprise strategy. Based on the conclusion of the study, the author thinks that enterprises should adjust the level of organizational redundancy according to the degree of environmental uncertainty, and also be on guard against cognitive bias of personal cognition of executives to the uncertainty of real environment. As a result, enterprises can not effectively cope with environmental changes.
