從藝術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)視角評(píng)估香港巴塞爾藝術(shù)展(英文)

巴塞爾藝術(shù)展在世界各地向來(lái)得到眾多人士追捧,近年在香港更成為城中熱門(mén)話題。然而,盡管受到公眾歡迎,不少藝術(shù)評(píng)論家批評(píng)巴塞爾藝術(shù)展的商業(yè)運(yùn)作模式某程度上犧牲了此活動(dòng)的藝術(shù)價(jià)值。本論文將采用"文化產(chǎn)業(yè)"或"藝術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)"的視角,配合實(shí)證研究,以評(píng)估巴塞爾藝術(shù)展于藝術(shù)世界建構(gòu)"商業(yè)網(wǎng)絡(luò)"在香港對(duì)當(dāng)?shù)厮囆g(shù)收藏家、藝術(shù)品經(jīng)銷(xiāo)商、藝術(shù)家和觀眾的影響。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)巴塞爾藝術(shù)展作為一個(gè)成功的藝術(shù)展覽和有效營(yíng)銷(xiāo)渠道,在藝術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)充當(dāng)了正面角色。然而,由于巴塞爾藝術(shù)展在培育藝術(shù)家和觀眾上的成效有限,筆者不建議巴塞爾藝術(shù)展以塑造當(dāng)?shù)匚幕鷳B(tài)系統(tǒng)的主導(dǎo)力量的名義來(lái)傳播。故此,文化政策制定者該明確定義巴塞爾藝術(shù)展在香港藝術(shù)界的角色。另外,巴塞爾藝術(shù)展的策展團(tuán)隊(duì)更可以考慮通過(guò)加強(qiáng)公共和非營(yíng)利藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)以及藝術(shù)教育組織的合作,提升藝術(shù)展的功能,以支持本地藝術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)。
