【摘要】:會(huì)展經(jīng)濟(jì)作為新型經(jīng)濟(jì)形態(tài)在世界和區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展中的地位日益彰顯,會(huì)展業(yè)正逐漸成為全球信息交流、技術(shù)進(jìn)步和文化發(fā)展的重要載體。國(guó)內(nèi)會(huì)展公司中文網(wǎng)站的英譯越來(lái)越普遍。因此,會(huì)展網(wǎng)站翻譯的質(zhì)量與效果越來(lái)越受到關(guān)注與重視。本實(shí)踐報(bào)告基于作者對(duì)上海西楚會(huì)展公司網(wǎng)站翻譯的實(shí)踐,梳理了作者在會(huì)展網(wǎng)站翻譯過(guò)程中碰到的困難與問(wèn)題,主要涉及術(shù)語(yǔ)、專(zhuān)有名詞、文化負(fù)載詞和口號(hào)翻譯四個(gè)方面。具體包括:(1)將術(shù)語(yǔ)誤用為普通名詞以及術(shù)語(yǔ)在譯入語(yǔ)中無(wú)對(duì)應(yīng)詞;(2)專(zhuān)有名詞的翻譯未能傳達(dá)出原文寓意和文化信息;(3)文化負(fù)載詞匯在譯語(yǔ)中出現(xiàn)文化項(xiàng)缺省和習(xí)語(yǔ)中文化意象丟失;(4)口號(hào)翻譯無(wú)法傳達(dá)出原文的對(duì)稱(chēng)結(jié)構(gòu)和諧音。根據(jù)彼得·紐馬克的文本類(lèi)型理論,會(huì)展網(wǎng)站文本兼具信息文本和呼喚文本功能,一方面為網(wǎng)站讀者提供會(huì)展活動(dòng)信息,另一方面吸引客戶(hù)并為他們提供服務(wù)。紐馬克主張這兩類(lèi)文本應(yīng)當(dāng)采取交際翻譯方法。本報(bào)告在深入分析上述翻譯困難和問(wèn)題的基礎(chǔ)上,運(yùn)用交際翻譯方法以達(dá)到信息傳遞和吸引客戶(hù)的目的。這種交際翻譯方法具體表現(xiàn)為:意譯(又包括釋義法和套譯法)、注釋(分直譯加注釋、音譯加注釋、意譯加注釋三種)、仿譯和創(chuàng)譯。期望本實(shí)踐報(bào)告的初步研究結(jié)果能對(duì)會(huì)展公司網(wǎng)站乃至其他網(wǎng)站的翻譯實(shí)踐活動(dòng)提供啟示和借鑒。
[Abstract]:As a new economic form, exhibition economy is playing an increasingly important role in the development of world and regional economy. Exhibition industry is becoming an important carrier of global information exchange, technological progress and cultural development. The translation of Chinese websites of domestic exhibition companies is becoming more and more common. Therefore, more and more attention has been paid to the quality and effect of translation. Based on the author's practice in the translation of the website of Shanghai Xichu Exhibition Company, this paper combs the difficulties and problems encountered by the author in the translation of the exhibition website, mainly covering four aspects: terminology, proper nouns, culture-loaded words and slogan translation. The translation of proper nouns fails to convey the original meaning and cultural information. The culture-loaded vocabulary has cultural default and habit in the target language. The translation of slogan can not convey the harmonious sound of the original text. According to Peter Newmark's text type theory, the text of the exhibition website has the functions of both information text and calling text. On the one hand, it provides the information of exhibition activities for the website readers, on the other hand, it attracts customers and provides them with services. Newmark argues that the two types of texts should adopt communicative translation methods. On the basis of in-depth analysis of the above translation difficulties and problems, the present report uses communicative translation methods to convey information and attract customers. The communicative translation methods are as follows: free translation, paraphrase and translation, annotation (partial literal translation plus annotation, transliteration plus annotation, free translation plus annotation), parody translation and creative translation. It is hoped that the preliminary results of this report will provide enlightenment and reference to the translation practice of the HKCEC website and even other websites.
