《消費(fèi)社會(huì)的未來:新經(jīng)濟(jì)下的可持續(xù)發(fā)展前景》(第四章)翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

本文是一篇翻譯報(bào)告,題材選自新澤西理工學(xué)院可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究教授Maurie J.Cohen所著的《消費(fèi)社會(huì)的未來:新經(jīng)濟(jì)的可持續(xù)發(fā)展前景》(The Future of Consumer Society:Prospects for Sustainability in the New Economy)。該著作共7個(gè)章節(jié),探討了更可持續(xù)的人類進(jìn)步形式。本翻譯報(bào)告所選部分為該著作的第四章:大眾市場創(chuàng)客運(yùn)動(dòng)。在這一章節(jié),作者描述了當(dāng)下創(chuàng)客運(yùn)動(dòng)的形勢(shì)及其發(fā)展前景,并探討其作為可持續(xù)發(fā)展模式的可行性。原文的特點(diǎn)是專業(yè)性強(qiáng)、語言富有表現(xiàn)力,具體表現(xiàn)在作者對(duì)于術(shù)語及修辭的大量使用。這些也是該譯文的難點(diǎn)。譯文的難點(diǎn)還包括詞匯、短語、長難句的傳譯。針對(duì)這些難點(diǎn),譯者在翻譯過程中以漢斯·約瑟夫·弗米爾的目的論為理論依據(jù),采取了歸化的翻譯策略、意譯的翻譯方法及增譯、分譯、轉(zhuǎn)換、句子結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整等翻譯技巧,以期譯文在譯入語語境中按照譯入語接受者期待的方式發(fā)生作用,達(dá)到譯文的交際目的。此外,本文總結(jié)了翻譯中所汲取的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和教訓(xùn),并指出一系列仍待解決的問題,為日后的研究提供指導(dǎo)。
