Abstract:Taking14prefecture-levelcitiesinLiaoningProvinceasthesourceofsamplesinthestudyarea,thispaperfirstexploredthespatialhierarchyandstructuralcharacteristicsofenergyefficiencyfromthefollowingthreeaspects:comprehensiveenergyefficiencybymeansofDEA,energyconsumptionperunitofGDP,andtheenergyefficiencyincombinationoftheformertwoindexes.Aftermeasuringandanalyzingthedegreesofadvancement,rationalityandconcentrationofindustrialstructureineachcity,wegeneralizedthecouplingfeaturesbetweenenergyefficiencyandindustrialstructureinLiaoningbyusingthecouplingdegreeratingmodel.Someconclusionscanbedrawnasfollows.(1)The14citiesdiffersignificantlyintheirenergyefficiency,amongwhich,fourcities(Shenyang,Dalian,AnshanandJinzhou)enjoythehighestenergyefficiency,butthenorthwesternpartandotherheavyindustrycitiessuchasFushunandBenxibelongtolowefficiencyandhighconsumptionarea.(2)Inareaswithhigherefficiency,thespatialpatternsofthecomprehensiveenergyefficiency,theenergyconsumptionforGDPperunit,andtheenergyutilizationefficiencypresentpatternsof'π','II',and'H',respectively.Geographically,fromeasttowestandfromnorthtosouth,theenergyutilizationefficiencyshowsdifferenttrend;thebinuclearstructureofeconomicdevelopmentandotherfactorshaveamajoreffectontheformationofthiskindofspatialpatternofenergyefficiency.(3)ThesoutheasternpartofLiaoningenjoyshigherdegreeofadvancementofindustrialstructure.WithShenyangandDalianholdingtwoends,theareaswithhigherdegreeofrationalityofindustrialstructurepresentsan'H'-shapedpattern.TheurbanagglomerationsinthecentralandsouthernLiaoningenjoyhigherdegreeofconcentrationofindustrialstructure.(4)Theoverallcouplingdegreebetweenenergyefficiencyandindustrialstructureislowintheprovince,butatbothendsofShenyangandDalian,thecouplingdegreebetweentheadvancementofindustrialstructureandenergyefficiencyisrelativelyhighthanthatofothercities.
