這是一份根據(jù)桂林市政府?dāng)?shù)字傳播與文化軟實(shí)力研究中心與廣西師范大學(xué)的英譯中合作項(xiàng)目而寫的翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,筆者的任務(wù)是翻譯源文本。隨著信息科技的迅速發(fā)展,各國計(jì)算機(jī)產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展不平衡,中國作為一個(gè)大國,綜合國力不斷提高,計(jì)算機(jī)產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展迅速,國際地位日益上升,這難免引起計(jì)算機(jī)產(chǎn)業(yè)大國美國的憂慮。計(jì)算機(jī)產(chǎn)業(yè)領(lǐng)域的翻譯具有一定的戰(zhàn)略意義,值得學(xué)術(shù)界更多的關(guān)注�；诖�,筆者選取了一份文本——《在中國構(gòu)建信息技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)》(題目原題為Building an Information Industry in China,出自美國戰(zhàn)略與國際研究中心)。該文本主要為特定歷史背景下美國對(duì)中國計(jì)算機(jī)產(chǎn)業(yè)的認(rèn)知,對(duì)中國計(jì)算機(jī)產(chǎn)業(yè)狀況與政策的觀點(diǎn)與態(tài)度,以及對(duì)中國計(jì)算機(jī)實(shí)力的評(píng)估。本次翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告主要分為兩部分,第一部分是報(bào)告主體,筆者對(duì)所選文本的文本特點(diǎn)和譯文進(jìn)行分析;第二部分是附錄的翻譯材料及其譯文,筆者借助紙質(zhì)詞典和網(wǎng)絡(luò)等翻譯工具,對(duì)所選文本進(jìn)行英譯漢的翻譯。筆者希望通過此次翻譯任務(wù),一方面能夠提高自身的翻譯技能,更好地把握科技信息文本的特點(diǎn),掌握科技信息文本的翻譯方法;另一方面希望筆者的翻譯報(bào)告能夠在某種程度上為相關(guān)人員提供參考。
