【摘要】：一般認(rèn)為,19世紀(jì)英國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)地理是以北方工業(yè)、南方農(nóng)牧為基本的分工特色,即英格蘭西北部和蘇格蘭南部是新興工業(yè)城市的集中之地,南方仍然是傳統(tǒng)的農(nóng)業(yè)區(qū),首都倫敦是一個(gè)消費(fèi)中心。然而,英國(guó)城市之間還有著更為細(xì)致的分工,倫敦也不全是以消費(fèi)與商業(yè)為特色的城市,而是一個(gè)重要的工業(yè)中心。倫敦有著大量的制造業(yè)人口,許多行業(yè)有著非常高的區(qū)位商,在全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)有著很高的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)。倫敦與當(dāng)時(shí)英國(guó)的其他工業(yè)城市一樣,小企業(yè)與大工廠并存,傳統(tǒng)手工藝與現(xiàn)代機(jī)器生產(chǎn)共處,成為消費(fèi)品、高端產(chǎn)品、終端產(chǎn)品和下游產(chǎn)品的生產(chǎn)重鎮(zhèn)�？傊�,倫敦是19世紀(jì)重要的制造業(yè)中心,甚至是最大的制造業(yè)中心。
[Abstract]:It is generally believed that the economic geography of England in the 19th century was characterized by northern industry and farming and animal husbandry in the south. That is to say, northwest England and southern Scotland were concentrated in new industrial cities, and the south was still a traditional agricultural region. London, the capital, is a consumption center. There is, however, a more detailed division of labour between British cities, and London is not entirely a city characterized by consumption and commerce, but an important industrial centre. London has a large manufacturing population, many industries have very high location quotient, has a high national competitive advantage. London, like other industrial cities in the UK at the time, had small businesses and big factories, and traditional handicrafts co-existed with modern machine production, becoming a major producer of consumer goods, high-end products, end products and downstream products. In short, London was an important manufacturing center, even the largest, in the 19 th century.
