[Abstract]:Since late 1960s, when Dudrick and Wilmore created intravenous nutrition, clinical nutrition support has experienced nearly half a century of practice, rapid development and remarkable efficacy. At the same time, infusion technology, nutrition preparations, disease metabolism research and other areas have made rapid progress. The term "nutritional support" has been gradually replaced by "nutritional support therapy".
