【摘要】：文學(xué)期刊以組織和選擇的方式生成并記錄著一個時期主流的文學(xué)面貌,當(dāng)代文學(xué)創(chuàng)作格局的形成、當(dāng)代文學(xué)思潮的發(fā)生及當(dāng)代生產(chǎn)機(jī)制的運(yùn)行均與文學(xué)期刊有著不可分割的聯(lián)系。在復(fù)雜的關(guān)聯(lián)性中,當(dāng)代文學(xué)期刊為當(dāng)代文學(xué)提供了豐富的史料,為當(dāng)代文學(xué)制度的考察提供了有效性樣本,因此從文學(xué)期刊角度考察文學(xué)史復(fù)雜面貌,從文學(xué)期刊發(fā)展?fàn)顟B(tài)來觀照文學(xué)的發(fā)展事實(shí)和發(fā)展態(tài)勢是研究當(dāng)代文學(xué)的一種必要性工作。本文以《當(dāng)代》作為研究對象,梳理《當(dāng)代》創(chuàng)刊至今的發(fā)展歷程,考察《當(dāng)代》對中國當(dāng)代現(xiàn)實(shí)主義文學(xué)的構(gòu)建,通過《當(dāng)代》文學(xué)生產(chǎn)過程透視當(dāng)代文學(xué)生產(chǎn)制度,整體性觀照《當(dāng)代》與中國當(dāng)代文學(xué)深刻的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系,從而實(shí)現(xiàn)對當(dāng)代文學(xué)的考察。第一章通過史實(shí)、史料對《當(dāng)代》的文化品格作以論述。在社會轉(zhuǎn)折時期的文藝新生中,《當(dāng)代》在人民文學(xué)出版社的全社共建下誕生,其創(chuàng)刊號做出了“反映當(dāng)代生活、實(shí)行百花齊放”的整體定位,并確立了《當(dāng)代》雜志“文學(xué)種類齊全、長篇紀(jì)實(shí)突出”的基本格局。通過對創(chuàng)刊號的考察,確認(rèn)《當(dāng)代》“直面人生、貼近現(xiàn)實(shí)”的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義立場的話語資源為革命現(xiàn)實(shí)主義,雜志意圖在未來發(fā)展中構(gòu)建廣闊的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義風(fēng)格,其整體性的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義追求使之在實(shí)踐中顯示出以深邃的歷史意識為指導(dǎo),清醒地認(rèn)識和理解現(xiàn)實(shí)關(guān)系的變化,準(zhǔn)確體察和把握社會生活,真實(shí)地揭示各種社會矛盾的整體傾向。第二章具體考察了《當(dāng)代》與新時期以來的文學(xué)思潮的互文性關(guān)系,雜志在對思潮的選擇與舍棄間形成整體面貌,突顯個體風(fēng)格�！懂�(dāng)代》在實(shí)踐中比較重視的文學(xué)思潮包括八十年代的改革文學(xué)、九十年代的官場文學(xué)和新世紀(jì)以來的底層文學(xué),貫穿三個時代和三種潮流的內(nèi)在線索是對社會問題的關(guān)注,顯現(xiàn)出《當(dāng)代》的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義精神內(nèi)涵。雜志對先鋒文學(xué)、現(xiàn)代派文學(xué)、新狀態(tài)等的忽略源自以上潮流與《當(dāng)代》宏闊、雄渾的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義美學(xué)風(fēng)格的差異�！懂�(dāng)代》所構(gòu)建的不僅僅是各成一派的文學(xué)潮流,它也豐富了當(dāng)代中國現(xiàn)實(shí)主義文學(xué)的一脈。第三章通過文本分析辨明《當(dāng)代》三十余年發(fā)展歷程中的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義流變。首先,《當(dāng)代》的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義作品在人物塑造上呈現(xiàn)出從類型化的典型性到經(jīng)驗(yàn)化的真實(shí)性的變化,從八十年代初期作品中對典型人物的極度突出并明晰分類,到九十年代弱化類型化的典型并將賦予主要人物以道德和文化意義,再發(fā)展到新世紀(jì)出現(xiàn)多個人物形象并置,強(qiáng)調(diào)人物日常經(jīng)驗(yàn)的真實(shí)性,又注入超越日常經(jīng)驗(yàn)的宏大精神意義。其次,在結(jié)構(gòu)形式上,八十年代中期以前以二元對立的形式為主流,當(dāng)現(xiàn)實(shí)主義文學(xué)不斷自我更新,新的文學(xué)結(jié)構(gòu)模式在摸索中逐漸產(chǎn)生,多元共生的結(jié)構(gòu)在新世紀(jì)以后成為最基本的內(nèi)部形式,這種從二元對立到多元共生的過渡是《當(dāng)代》現(xiàn)實(shí)主義作品結(jié)構(gòu)的大致流向。最后,在藝術(shù)技巧上,由最初借鑒西方創(chuàng)作技巧到日漸融合。第四章論述《當(dāng)代》的文學(xué)生產(chǎn)機(jī)制。首先,通過編輯理念、主要編輯、稿件處理等考察《當(dāng)代》在生產(chǎn)活動中受到主流意識形態(tài)話語的影響,以及《當(dāng)代》在這種“限度”下對文學(xué)自身“意義”的最大化追求。其次,通過《當(dāng)代》與文學(xué)獎及《當(dāng)代》與文學(xué)批評甄辨文學(xué)評介主體力量的轉(zhuǎn)化。最后,分析《當(dāng)代》與人民文學(xué)出版社刊社共生的出版機(jī)制。第五章分析《當(dāng)代》在市場經(jīng)濟(jì)的沖擊下所作出的理性探索。在生產(chǎn)理念上改變以作者為中心轉(zhuǎn)向以讀者為中心。在生產(chǎn)實(shí)踐上,與影視文學(xué)、網(wǎng)絡(luò)文學(xué)等新媒介文學(xué)進(jìn)行互動。探索刊企合作、暢銷書等市場化運(yùn)營機(jī)制�！懂�(dāng)代》在文學(xué)期刊衰退的整體背景下保證自負(fù)盈虧,并在市場化的實(shí)踐中堅(jiān)守了直面人生、關(guān)注現(xiàn)實(shí)的主體風(fēng)格。第六章討論現(xiàn)實(shí)主義對《當(dāng)代》的啟示與反思。一方面,《當(dāng)代》的編輯實(shí)踐在現(xiàn)實(shí)主義邊界中左右彷徨,時而探索廣闊豐富的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義,時而固守傳統(tǒng)的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義,雜志受到傳統(tǒng)現(xiàn)實(shí)主義的固守和困囿大于探索廣闊現(xiàn)實(shí)主義而產(chǎn)生的失誤,傳統(tǒng)現(xiàn)實(shí)主義追求使《當(dāng)代》選發(fā)的作品顯示出一種片面要求宏觀覆蓋性的傾向,消解了復(fù)雜的審美差異,對意識形態(tài)話語的傾斜使其受到與之強(qiáng)勢共謀的責(zé)難。另一方面,現(xiàn)實(shí)主義賦予雜志以莊嚴(yán)的使命感和責(zé)任感,同時為其提供源源不斷的動力,使之在混動紛繁的市場經(jīng)濟(jì)大潮和迅速的科技力量革新中葆有生命活力。
