在經(jīng)濟全球化和社會信息化的背景下,翻譯市場的業(yè)務增長迅速。然而,傳統(tǒng)的多人合作人工翻譯由于缺乏有效溝通和管理不善,造成項目進度,翻譯質(zhì)量和交付等方面出現(xiàn)這樣或那樣的問題。本文以The Last Governor Chris Patten and the Handover of Hong Kong的中譯版本《香港末代總督彭定康》為例本,詳述中文譯本存在術(shù)語翻譯錯誤,翻譯不一致和句子翻譯錯誤的三個主要問題。針對這些問題,作者在第三章中講述了如何用現(xiàn)代翻譯技術(shù)與工具解決上述問題。通過SDL MultiTerm和SDL Trados Studio建立術(shù)語庫和翻譯記憶庫,可以解決翻譯不一致的問題；通過利用ApSIC Xbench可以提高審閱的效率,避免漏譯。第四章將從翻譯質(zhì)量計劃、質(zhì)量監(jiān)控和質(zhì)量保證三方面來講述如何進行協(xié)同翻譯的質(zhì)量管理。有效利用機器輔助翻譯（CAT）工具及翻譯質(zhì)量管理技術(shù)能夠保證術(shù)語、風格的一致性。作者總結(jié)出一系列的流程和步驟,以確保交付譯文的質(zhì)量。最后,作者改譯了《香港末代總督彭定康》的第九章：千古罪人—北京政府與香港總督的對抗,并提供了改譯文本。
