可編程虛擬化路由器的轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)表查找技術(shù)綜述

【摘要】:可編程虛擬化路由器是未來互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的核心網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備,即在一個(gè)物理路由器平臺(tái)上并行實(shí)現(xiàn)多個(gè)相互獨(dú)立的虛擬路由器。綜述了可編程虛擬化路由器的轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)表(forwarding table,FIB)查找技術(shù)。分析了FIB查找技術(shù)的性能與可伸縮性挑戰(zhàn),即查找吞吐量、存儲(chǔ)空間和增量更新問題。討論了多FIB融合的IP查找算法和基于NDN(named data networking)命名的非IP查找算法的研究進(jìn)展。指出了OpenFlow的多域FIB查找和基于硬件的NDN線速轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)是未來研究亟需解決的重點(diǎn)問題。
[Abstract]:Programmable virtualization router is the core network device of the future Internet, that is, parallel implementation of several independent virtual routers on a physical router platform. The forwarding table,FIB lookup technology of programmable virtualization router is reviewed. This paper analyzes the performance and scalability challenges of FIB lookup technology, that is, lookup throughput, storage space and incremental update. The research progress of IP lookup algorithm based on multiple FIB fusion and non IP lookup algorithm based on NDN (named data networking) naming is discussed. It is pointed out that OpenFlow multi-domain FIB lookup and hardware-based NDN line speed forwarding are the key problems to be solved in the future.
