基于SDN的VXLAN優(yōu)化機制研究

【摘要】:近年來,數(shù)據(jù)中心網(wǎng)絡的結構不斷地發(fā)生變化,新的技術也層出不窮。如今的數(shù)據(jù)中心網(wǎng)絡已演變成一個大規(guī)模的多租戶網(wǎng)絡,存在百萬級的虛擬機和大量的租戶,面臨在網(wǎng)絡資源有限的情況下既要滿足很高的帶寬要求,又要應對虛擬機的頻繁遷移的多重挑戰(zhàn)。本文所研究的基于 SDN(Software Defined Network)的 VXLAN(Virtual eXtensible Local Area Network)就是在這一背景下提出的論文首先介紹了 VXLAN技術的原理和VXLAN用于數(shù)據(jù)中心網(wǎng)絡所面臨的虛擬機遷移、負載均衡等問題,并分析了目前解決方案的不足。提出了基于智能SDN的VXLAN架構,引入了智能中心的概念。針對虛擬機遷移問題,在新的架構下,虛擬機能夠在遷移過程中與其它虛擬機持續(xù)連接并保持數(shù)據(jù)不丟失。針對負載均衡問題,提出了基于分布式網(wǎng)關框架的解決方案,不需要對硬件進行改動就能夠完成自動化的負載均衡工作。通過軟件仿真,驗證了虛擬機遷移和自動化負載均衡方案的性能。提出了一種基于SDN的VX[LAN轉發(fā)技術優(yōu)化方案,利用智能中心的監(jiān)控模塊來實時獲取全局拓撲信息并存儲在數(shù)據(jù)庫中,利用SDN控制器的集中管理能力對VXLAN網(wǎng)絡的轉發(fā)過程進行優(yōu)化。通過Mininet仿真比較了不同方案的往返傳輸時間,驗證了該轉發(fā)方案可以提升數(shù)據(jù)中心網(wǎng)絡的轉發(fā)性能。
[Abstract]:In recent years, the structure of the data center network has been constantly changing, and new technologies are emerging in endlessly. Today's data center network has evolved into a large-scale multi-tenant network, there are millions of virtual machines and a large number of tenants, faced with limited network resources to meet the high bandwidth requirements, It is also necessary to deal with the multiple challenges of frequent migration of virtual machines. In this paper, the VXLAN(Virtual eXtensible Local Area Network) based on SDN(Software Defined Network is proposed under this background. Firstly, this paper introduces the principle of VXLAN technology and the problems of virtual machine migration and load balance that VXLAN faces when it is used in data center network. The shortcomings of the current solutions are also analyzed. The VXLAN architecture based on intelligent SDN is proposed, and the concept of intelligent center is introduced. To solve the problem of virtual machine migration, under the new architecture, the virtual machine can continuously connect with other virtual machines during the migration process and keep the data from being lost. Aiming at the problem of load balancing, a solution based on distributed gateway framework is proposed, which can accomplish the automatic load balancing work without changing the hardware. The performance of virtual machine migration and automatic load balancing is verified by software simulation. An optimization scheme of VX [LAN] forwarding technology based on SDN is proposed. The monitoring module of intelligent center is used to obtain global topology information in real time and stored in database. The forwarding process of VXLAN network is optimized by using the centralized management ability of SDN controller. The round-trip transmission time of different schemes is compared by Mininet simulation, and it is verified that the forwarding scheme can improve the forwarding performance of data center network.
