隨著合作翻譯越來越廣泛的應(yīng)用,越來越多的研究者關(guān)注這一領(lǐng)域。作者分析過去十年的合作翻譯研究發(fā)現(xiàn),研究者多聚焦于不同的合作翻譯模式,和合作翻譯中運(yùn)用到的網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù),而較少關(guān)注合作翻譯項(xiàng)目中各個(gè)行動(dòng)者和他們之間的關(guān)系。翻譯作為一種社會(huì)實(shí)踐,各個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)都可能涉及多個(gè)行動(dòng)者。翻譯項(xiàng)目的順利運(yùn)行是各個(gè)行動(dòng)者共同努力的結(jié)果。行動(dòng)者網(wǎng)絡(luò)理論關(guān)注社會(huì)實(shí)踐中不同的行動(dòng)者及其相互關(guān)系,通過分析其構(gòu)建的行動(dòng)者網(wǎng)絡(luò),從而獲得對(duì)社會(huì)實(shí)踐更全面、更深入的理解。作者運(yùn)用行動(dòng)者網(wǎng)絡(luò)理論,分別從宏觀和微觀的角度分析一個(gè)圖書出版領(lǐng)域的合作翻譯項(xiàng)目。從宏觀角度,作者分析參與合作翻譯項(xiàng)目的行動(dòng)者和他們之間的關(guān)系,解析其發(fā)起過程,構(gòu)建起合作翻譯項(xiàng)目的行動(dòng)者網(wǎng)絡(luò),以提供一個(gè)更全面的視角,從而分析行動(dòng)者在此網(wǎng)絡(luò)中所處的位置和行動(dòng)者彼此之間的關(guān)聯(lián),以及它們對(duì)書籍出版項(xiàng)目的影響。從微觀角度,作者解析翻譯小組內(nèi)部的具體互動(dòng),如統(tǒng)一術(shù)語表、兩兩審校等,以及采取的翻譯與審校策略,如簡化、替換、補(bǔ)充、改變語序等,并闡釋其對(duì)其他行動(dòng)者和行動(dòng)者網(wǎng)絡(luò)的影響。作者希望這—論文能豐富對(duì)于合作翻譯的研究,以及從社會(huì)學(xué)角度對(duì)翻譯領(lǐng)域的研究。
