本文是一篇基于嘉豪公司宣傳冊《肉牛扶貧產(chǎn)業(yè)》中譯英翻譯項(xiàng)目的報(bào)告。宣傳冊主要介紹以肉牛養(yǎng)殖為主的扶貧產(chǎn)業(yè)及各產(chǎn)業(yè)形成的一條完整產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈,基于紐馬克的文本類型理論,其內(nèi)容主要具有信息功能和召喚功能,外界通過宣傳冊,能更進(jìn)一步了解嘉豪公司的業(yè)務(wù),關(guān)注地方扶貧。本文前三部分依次介紹翻譯項(xiàng)目背景、筆者的譯前準(zhǔn)備及翻譯過程。針對源文本中出現(xiàn)的詞意模糊、流水句、句子結(jié)構(gòu)相似、缺少銜接等情況,筆者在第四部分結(jié)合紐馬克提出的交際翻譯策略,使用強(qiáng)調(diào)主語、句子重組、突出邏輯等翻譯技巧,探討如何在實(shí)現(xiàn)文本的信息和召喚功能力的同時(shí),向讀者傳遞準(zhǔn)確而清晰的信息。最后,筆者總結(jié)此次翻譯實(shí)踐的收獲,期望為同類文本的中譯英提供有益借鑒。
