【摘要】：正一九○一年,《原富》全書譯畢,分兩部分于一九○一、一九○二年相繼出版。自一八九六年嚴(yán)復(fù)提筆譯書起,便陸續(xù)將譯稿寄予吳汝綸校閱,并書信往來,交流思想。因此,吳汝綸應(yīng)最能理解嚴(yán)復(fù)翻譯《原富》之苦心。一九○○年,嚴(yán)復(fù)請吳汝綸為即將出版的書稿作序。在這篇序言里,吳汝綸闡釋了嚴(yán)譯的意義,其論述亦能體現(xiàn)出一代學(xué)人對民族命運的關(guān)切以及時代之精神。吳汝綸首先強(qiáng)調(diào)了財政對國家存亡之重要性,認(rèn)為"國之庶政,
[Abstract]:In 1901, the book was translated and published in two parts in 1901, 1902. Since Yan Fu took the pen to translate the book in 1896, he has sent it to Wu Ru-lun for collation, correspondence and exchange of ideas. Therefore, Wu Ru-lun should understand Yan Fu's painstaking efforts in translating the original Rich. In 1900, Yan Fu asked Wu Ru-lun to preface the forthcoming manuscript. In this preface, Wu Ru-lun explains the meaning of Yan translation, and his exposition can also reflect the concern of the generation of scholars to the fate of the nation and the spirit of the times. Wu Ru-lun first stressed the importance of finance to the survival of the country.
