美國文化冷戰(zhàn)中的MoMA設(shè)計展——以“美國藝術(shù)50年”展覽為例

【摘要】:本文主要以1955年MoMA在巴黎舉辦的"美國藝術(shù)50年"展覽為例,考察第二次世界大戰(zhàn)之后設(shè)計作品在美國對歐洲的文化冷戰(zhàn)中所扮演的角色。在推銷美國生活方式以及自由、平等的價值觀之外,這次展覽試圖將美國的設(shè)計塑造成與抽象表現(xiàn)主義一樣的現(xiàn)代主義經(jīng)典文化,從而改善法國人對美國文化的印象。
[Abstract]:This paper takes the "American Art 50 years" exhibition held by MoMA in Paris in 1955 as an example to examine the role of American design works in the Cold War of American Culture against Europe after World War II. In addition to promoting American ways of life and the values of freedom and equality, the exhibition attempts to transform American design into a modernist classic culture like abstract expressionism, thereby improving the French impression of American culture.
