從傳統(tǒng)工藝到數(shù)字工藝的設計策略研究

【摘要】:自工業(yè)化社會以來,"少即是多"、"形式追隨功能"等設計思想逐漸成為工業(yè)設計領域中的主流設計理論,這些理論影響著從造型設計、結構分析、零件制造到產品組裝等生產制造流程中的各個環(huán)節(jié)。而隨著社會的發(fā)展,日益壯大的工業(yè)世界也帶來了日益嚴重的環(huán)境、資源、生態(tài)等事關人類生存發(fā)展的重大問題。但是反觀傳統(tǒng),傳統(tǒng)工藝是人類最早出現(xiàn)的設計活動,這種傳統(tǒng)設計活動的最大特點就是遵循著源于自然的設計法則,驅動著以最小化的資源實現(xiàn)最大化的效益。近年來,國外越來越多的研究者提出了混合工藝、材料體驗的設計方法,他們從傳統(tǒng)工藝中尋求靈感,借由計算技術實現(xiàn)設計創(chuàng)新與資源消耗的平衡;在國內,關于傳統(tǒng)工藝的研究已經成為設計領域的新興方向,依托我國豐富的傳統(tǒng)工藝資源,本文提出從傳統(tǒng)工藝到數(shù)字工藝的設計策略研究課題。數(shù)字工藝是本文提出的針對傳統(tǒng)工藝與材料體驗的數(shù)字化設計策略,通過整合傳統(tǒng)工藝的特征優(yōu)勢與先進的數(shù)字化設計和制造技術,開發(fā)用于支持日常創(chuàng)新制作的數(shù)字化平臺。本文開展的計算機輔助工藝研究的創(chuàng)新設計思維過程,以及創(chuàng)造出的數(shù)字化平臺及設計實踐成果,揭示了數(shù)字工藝設計策略的運行機制,為實現(xiàn)傳統(tǒng)工藝在現(xiàn)代制造中的傳承發(fā)展提供新思路,為進一步整合設計與制造,開發(fā)高度個性化、定制化的新材料、新結構和新形式奠定了基礎。本文的主要研究內容如下:(1)研究從傳統(tǒng)工藝到數(shù)字工藝發(fā)展的可能性和限制。通過親身實踐、文獻搜集、資料閱讀等方式,盡可能全面的把握這兩個不同領域的研究現(xiàn)狀、進展和機會。對于兩個領域在共性和差異性上的探討,既要考慮傳統(tǒng)工藝升級的可能性和限制,也需要考慮數(shù)字技術和過程本身帶來的可能性和限制。(2)研究從傳統(tǒng)工藝升級到數(shù)字工藝的實施路徑。具體包括促使這一活動實施成功的方法、技術和材料。重點關注工藝特征在這一過程中所帶來的新的創(chuàng)造可能性,而不僅僅是數(shù)字化的復制。(3)研究從傳統(tǒng)工藝的角度來發(fā)展數(shù)字工藝的原因。探討傳統(tǒng)工藝融入到數(shù)字技術活動中可以實現(xiàn)的優(yōu)勢和價值。本文在以上研究內容的基礎上,開展了理論與實踐相結合的研究工作,主要貢獻如下:(1)對方法論的貢獻:本文通過對傳統(tǒng)工藝和數(shù)字工藝具體內容的反思,提出了一個將設計、工藝、數(shù)字技術三者結合的整合設計策略,為工藝設計、混合工藝領域的創(chuàng)新實踐提供了新方法,也為這一領域增添了一種跨領域轉型升級的思路。(2)對文化傳承的貢獻:本文通過大量的設計實踐活動為工藝文化的傳承提供了寶貴經驗。本文開展的手工藝實踐、新興數(shù)字實踐、互動技術實踐等多項成功案例進一步證明了那些來自于傳統(tǒng)文化和工藝的經驗知識及信息在現(xiàn)代化工業(yè)發(fā)展中依然是鼓舞人心的創(chuàng)新驅動力。(3)對設計創(chuàng)新的貢獻:本文以促進日常創(chuàng)新實踐為目標,為工藝傳承領域提供了大量的創(chuàng)新設計思路和物質化實現(xiàn)方法。這些設計思想的可實踐性為工藝傳承和數(shù)字工藝領域的進一步研究與探索提供靈感來源和參考。
[Abstract]:Since the industrial society, the design ideas such as "less is more" and "form following function" have gradually become the mainstream design theory in the field of industrial design. These theories affect various parts of the manufacturing process, such as modeling design, structural analysis, parts manufacturing to product assembly, and the growing industrial world with the development of society. It also brings an increasingly serious environment, resources, ecology and other important issues related to human survival and development. However, traditional technology is the earliest design activity of human beings. The biggest feature of this traditional design activity is to follow the natural design rules and drive to maximize the benefit of minimizing the resources. Over the years, more and more researchers abroad have put forward the design method of mixing process and material experience. They seek inspiration from traditional technology and balance the design innovation and resource consumption by computing technology. In China, the research on traditional technology has become a new direction of design domain, relying on the rich traditional process capital in China. This paper puts forward the research topic of design strategy from traditional technology to digital technology. Digital technology is a digital design strategy proposed in this paper for traditional process and material experience. By integrating the characteristics advantage of traditional technology and advanced digital design and manufacturing technology, the digital process is used to open the digital platform to support the daily innovation and production. The innovative design thinking process of computer aided process research, and the creation of digital platform and design practice results are carried out in this paper. The operation mechanism of digital process design strategy is revealed. It provides new ideas for the realization of traditional technology in modern manufacturing, and the development of high individuation for further integration of design and manufacture. The main research contents of this paper are as follows: (1) study the possibility and limitation of the development of the traditional technology to the digital process. By means of personal practice, literature collection, and data reading, the research status, progress and opportunity of the two different fields are as comprehensive as possible. The discussion of the generality and difference between the two fields should consider both the possibility and limitation of the traditional process upgrading, the possibility and limitation of the digital technology and process itself. (2) the study of the implementation path from the traditional process upgrading to the digital process, including the methods, techniques and materials to promote the successful implementation of the process. Focus on the new creative possibilities of the process characteristics in this process, not just digital reproduction. (3) the study of the reasons for the development of digital technology from the perspective of traditional technology. The advantages and values of the integration of traditional technology into the digital technology activities are discussed. The main contributions of the combination of theory and practice are as follows: (1) contribution to methodology: through reflection on the specific content of traditional technology and digital technology, this paper puts forward an integrated design strategy combining the three parties of design, technology and digital technology, which provides a new method for the innovation practice of the industrial design and the mixed process field. A cross domain transformation and upgrading is also added to this field. (2) the contribution to cultural inheritance: This article provides valuable experience for the inheritance of process culture through a large number of design practices. The experience knowledge and information of traditional culture and technology are still inspiring innovative driving forces in the development of modern industry. (3) contribution to design innovation: This article aims at promoting the practice of daily innovation, and provides a large number of innovative design ideas and materialization methods for the field of process inheritance. The practicality of these ideas It provides inspiration and reference for further research and exploration in the field of technology inheritance and digital technology.
