　　隨著中國(guó)加入WTO,對(duì)外經(jīng)貿(mào)往來(lái)不可避免地日益增多,各種相關(guān)的法律文件也發(fā)揮著越來(lái)越重要的作用。由于英語(yǔ)是世界通用的語(yǔ)言,英文法律文件也成為全球使用范圍最廣、使用頻率最高的法律文件。與此同時(shí),中國(guó)作為世界一極,地位不斷上升,中文法律文件也日趨重要。鑒于中外語(yǔ)言、文化及法律體系方面的差異客觀存在,為便于法律文件的各有關(guān)方能夠進(jìn)行準(zhǔn)確、有效的理解與溝通,對(duì)法律文件進(jìn)行翻譯的必要性和重要性日漸凸顯。然而,國(guó)內(nèi)對(duì)于漢外法律文件互譯（包括英漢互譯）規(guī)律性的認(rèn)識(shí)和研究尚存在著一定差距。同時(shí),由于漢、英兩種語(yǔ)言本身就有較大差異,中國(guó)作為大陸法系國(guó)家與英美法系國(guó)家在文化和法律體系方面的差異也非常顯著,所有這些因素使得英文法律文件的漢譯成為難度最大的翻譯種類之一;其中的復(fù)雜長(zhǎng)句更成為影響譯文質(zhì)量的瓶頸。本文從以上客觀現(xiàn)實(shí)和需要出發(fā),結(jié)合作者自身的從業(yè)經(jīng)驗(yàn),詳細(xì)分析了英文法律文本和其中復(fù)雜長(zhǎng)句的特點(diǎn),列舉了漢、英兩種語(yǔ)言之間的差異,論證了翻譯時(shí)應(yīng)采取的策略,即宏觀上采取異化翻譯策略,適當(dāng)輔之以歸化翻譯;并進(jìn)而提出了相應(yīng)的翻譯方法,以期對(duì)法律文本翻譯的研究和實(shí)踐有所裨益。本文共分六章。作為引論,第一章介紹了...
