【摘要】:本文分別抽取《我的安東妮亞》中四個相對應(yīng)的英漢文本進行對比分析,旨在探討英漢兩種語言在及物性過程方面的異同。具體來說,本研究試圖解決三個研究問題:(1)《我的安東妮亞》的英漢文本分別包含哪些及物性過程?(2)英漢及物性過程的分布有何異同?(3)造成這些異同的因素是什么?本文以韓禮德系統(tǒng)功能語法的及物性為理論基礎(chǔ),采取定量分析與定性分析相結(jié)合的方式對樣本進行了分析。定量分析主要是呈現(xiàn)各個及物性過程在樣本中的分布情況,定性分析不僅用于分析英漢間的過程轉(zhuǎn)換,表現(xiàn)及物性在揭示主人公安東妮亞性格特征的適用性,也用于揭示英漢及物性過程的異同。通過中英及物性過程的比較和對比,本研究獲得六個發(fā)現(xiàn)。相同點:(1)漢語中六個及物性過程的分布大體上與其英語原文保持一致;(2)在小句主語不明確或者不清楚的情況下,英語和漢語的及物性過程均采用被動語態(tài)。不同點:(1)英語的關(guān)系過程與漢語的關(guān)系過程在關(guān)系連接動詞的組成成分方面存在差異;(2)英語多用被動語態(tài),漢語多用主動語態(tài)。漢語通過在物質(zhì)過程動詞前添加“把”“讓”將英語被動語態(tài)的物質(zhì)過程轉(zhuǎn)換為主動語態(tài);(3)英語的關(guān)系過程轉(zhuǎn)換為漢語的物質(zhì)過程主要是由于靜態(tài)詞轉(zhuǎn)換為動態(tài)詞造成的;(4)在應(yīng)對英語系表結(jié)構(gòu)“get+adjective"的及物性過程時,漢語通常會增加或刪減其中的過程類型。造成“get+adjective"結(jié)構(gòu)的及物性過程發(fā)生過程轉(zhuǎn)換的原因主要是忽略了翻譯“get”這個動詞的意思并增譯了一個新的動詞,同時,"get+adjective"結(jié)構(gòu)中形容詞意思的不具體性是造成過程轉(zhuǎn)換的另一原因。英漢及物性的異同主要歸結(jié)于小說的主題和體裁與及連接詞在中英文本中的使用情況。小說的主題及體裁影響及物性過程的分布,連接詞在中英文小句構(gòu)建中的不同作用是造成及物性過程轉(zhuǎn)換的主要原因。
