多義詞詞義縮小和擴大現(xiàn)象的詞匯語用研究

一詞多義是一種普遍存在的語言現(xiàn)象,它指的是一個詞有兩個或者兩個以上的義項,而且這些義項之間存在著相互聯(lián)系。多義詞的生成和理解機制一直是語言學(xué)的焦點問題之一,但前人的研究多集中在多義詞的內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)以及詞義發(fā)展的規(guī)律和模式,很少涉及多義詞詞義的選擇和理解。結(jié)構(gòu)主義語義學(xué)和認(rèn)知語言學(xué)對一詞多義現(xiàn)象的研究都偏離了語境因素,因此無法充分解釋多義詞詞義縮小和擴大現(xiàn)象。 詞匯語用學(xué)是近年來出現(xiàn)在國外語言學(xué)研究中的一個新概念,是語用學(xué)領(lǐng)域迅速發(fā)展的一門新的分支學(xué)科,主要關(guān)注語言使用中不確定性詞義的語用處理。它涉及語義學(xué)、語用學(xué)、詞匯學(xué)、認(rèn)知語言學(xué)等之間的界面研究,包括詞義的語用收縮和語用擴充等信息加工,特別是話語理解中特定詞匯信息的語用處理。詞匯語用學(xué)以格萊斯提出的會話合作原則為理論基礎(chǔ),結(jié)合語用機制,語境知識和百科知識,對詞匯意義進行動態(tài)研究,認(rèn)為理解不確定性詞義需要結(jié)合語境和百科知識進行必要的語用充實,而特定語境下多義詞詞義的理解是對其編碼義進行弱化,延伸或擴展的過程。 本文在前人研究的基礎(chǔ)上,從詞匯語用角度闡釋了多義詞詞義縮小和擴大的定義以及分類,并以詞匯語用學(xué)的兩大語用原則會話含義理論和關(guān)聯(lián)理論...
