本文從德國功能主義翻譯理論以及該理論與應用文翻譯的聯(lián)系為切入點,回顧了德國功能主義翻譯理論的四個階段,闡述了每個理論的優(yōu)點和局限性,在梳理我國應用文翻譯理論成果的基礎之上,總結了存在的問題,論證了直譯、套譯、借譯、仿譯、創(chuàng)譯等應用文翻譯的策略。 研究認為,雖然奈達的功能對等理論對翻譯有強大的解釋力并且在我國的翻譯研究領域被廣泛的采用,但是對于應用文翻譯的特性,該理論還是存在一定的局限性。功能主義翻譯理論把翻譯定義為一種有目的的行為,應用文體的翻譯也是一種有目的的翻譯活動。翻譯時應根據(jù)要求,試從功能翻譯理論的視角,結合翻譯的目的盡量創(chuàng)作出地道的翻譯。 依據(jù)功能派翻譯理論,在應用文翻譯的過程中,譯者要充分考慮到翻譯目的、文本類型和語言規(guī)范等方面的因素,采用恰當?shù)姆g策略。本文在對功能派翻譯理論的綜述及應用文語言特征的分析梳理的基礎上,意圖通過對廣告、公示語、官方文件和旅游信息的譯例進行分析,分別歸納出幾種有效的翻譯方法,論證了功能主義翻譯理論對應用文翻譯的特殊指導意義并希望能以此為譯學研究作出自己的一點貢獻。
