Defining the Dialogue Interpreter’s Role from the Perspectiv

近年來,關(guān)于口譯員在不同工作模式下的角色定位問題一直是學(xué)術(shù)界尤其是在口譯學(xué)研究重心發(fā)生“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”后的二十多年來備受關(guān)注的論題。傳統(tǒng)觀點普遍將口譯員的工作理解為單純的語言翻譯,然而現(xiàn)實生活中,口譯員承擔(dān)的并不僅僅是語言翻譯的工作。傳統(tǒng)口譯理論認(rèn)為,口譯活動只是由對話雙方通過口譯員的語言轉(zhuǎn)換而進(jìn)行的溝通互動,口譯員常常被視為被動的“傳聲筒”。然而,在實際對話口譯過程中,不同社會文化背景和不同話語系統(tǒng)的人們進(jìn)行面對面的交際活動,形成動態(tài)的話語行為,在此過程中,為了幫助主要對話雙方克服語言文化障礙,順利實現(xiàn)跨文化交際,口譯員不僅僅扮演“傳聲筒”的角色,還必須使用兩種語言中的各種策略協(xié)調(diào)對話。本文主要嘗試針對口譯時譯員在活動中承擔(dān)的角色和發(fā)揮的作用進(jìn)行再定位。首先系統(tǒng)線性回顧了現(xiàn)有口譯研究文獻(xiàn)中對口譯員的角色問題的探討和描述,同時說明口譯操作模式的特殊性,當(dāng)前認(rèn)為口譯員具有普遍性的角色定位觀點并不能完全適用于對口譯員的準(zhǔn)確定位。緊接著對口譯的性質(zhì)和特征進(jìn)行了分析和概括。鑒于目前對于口譯的研究多從技巧方面入手,極少從語言學(xué),尤其是話語分析的角度給與指導(dǎo)。本文擬用話語分析中的“話輪轉(zhuǎn)換體制”解析口...
