[Abstract]:On June 25, 2017, Beijing Foreign Studies University solemnly held the 60th Anniversary meeting of the publication of "Foreign language Teaching and Research" and the sixth National Forum of Foreign language Teaching and Research experts, attended by more than 180 leaders, experts and representatives from universities and scientific research institutions from all over the country and overseas. "Foreign language Teaching and Research" is a journal of Beijing Foreign Studies University, founded in 1957, the original name of "Western languages", changed to its present name in 1959. It is the earliest foreign language academic periodical founded in New China, which is of milestone significance in the history of foreign language academic and educational development in China. Wang Zoliang, Xu Guozhang, a famous scholar in the field of foreign languages in China, etc.
