【摘要】：抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)結(jié)束前夕,老舍出版了長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō)《四世同堂》前兩部《惶惑》和《偷生》。1946年3月,他應(yīng)邀訪問(wèn)美國(guó),后至紐約從事創(chuàng)作和翻譯,其間最重要的工作,是完成了第三部《饑荒》的創(chuàng)作。老舍也與翻譯家浦愛(ài)德合作,將《四世同堂》全部文稿翻譯成英文,易名The Yellow Storm,于1952年在紐約出版�！娥嚮摹吩谏虾！缎≌f(shuō)》月刊上的連載,從1950年開(kāi)始到1951年為止,只刊出了二十章。"文革"期間,《饑荒》手稿散佚,作品全貌從此無(wú)以再現(xiàn)。2014年7月,《四世同堂》譯稿在美國(guó)哈佛大學(xué)圖書(shū)館發(fā)現(xiàn),《饑荒》后半部從而得到完整回譯。
[Abstract]:On the eve of the end of the War of Resistance against Japan, Lao She published the first two novels, "bewilderment" and "stealing." in March 1946, he was invited to visit the United States and then went to New York to write and translate. It is to complete the creation of the third book Famine. Lao She also worked with translator Pu Aide to translate all the manuscripts of the four generations into English. The pseudonym The Yellow Storm, was published in New York in 1952. Famine was serialized in the Shanghai novel monthly magazine from 1950 to 1951. Only twenty chapters have been published. " During the Cultural Revolution, the manuscript of Famine was lost, and the whole picture of the work was never reproduced. In July 2014, the translation of "four generations together" was found in the Harvard University Library in the United States, and the second half of Famine was fully translated.
