索緒爾語言學思想與博社恩語言學理論的比對

【摘要】：在語言學界,索緒爾歷來被公認為“現(xiàn)代語言學之父”,但其實早在索緒爾之前,波蘭—俄國語言學家博杜恩就已經(jīng)提出了普通語言學理論的核心觀點。通過對博杜恩普通語言學思想的整理和解讀,我們發(fā)現(xiàn)博杜恩與索緒爾的語言學理論存在眾多相似處,博杜恩在普通語言學思想方面更具有先見性。這讓我們不得不對索緒爾語言學思想的原創(chuàng)性產(chǎn)生質(zhì)疑,并對他的語言學貢獻以及其在語言學史上的地位進行重新審視。本研究主要參考《普通語言學教程》(高名凱譯)、《普通語言學手稿》(于秀英整理)以及《普通語言學論文集》(楊衍春譯),并對索緒爾與博杜恩的語言學思想進行整理和比對,重在揭示二者語言學理論上的相似性。從比對的結(jié)果中我們不難發(fā)現(xiàn),普通語言學中常見的概念或思想,如語言和言語、靜態(tài)和動態(tài)的分類以及音位等,我們在博杜恩的論文中基本都能找到相對應的表述。本研究參考了博杜恩和索緒爾文獻中的大量論述,最后可以發(fā)現(xiàn)博杜恩是普通語言學理論的先驅(qū),索緒爾的語言學觀點與之相比并不具有鮮明的創(chuàng)新性,后者的貢獻應更多地體現(xiàn)在對普通語言學理論的系統(tǒng)整理和傳播方面。本研究主要包含三部分的內(nèi)容:1.考察索緒爾與博杜恩語言學比對的緣起,探討索緒爾語言學思想借鑒博杜恩的可能性,具體包括三個方面:(1)索緒爾個人學術(shù)創(chuàng)作的成果以及精神狀態(tài);(2)《普通語言學教程》的產(chǎn)生基礎和過程;(3)博杜恩與索緒爾二者的學術(shù)往來。2.對索緒爾與博杜恩具體語言學思想進行比對,分別在語言學研究對象及其與其他學科的關(guān)系、語言和言語及靜態(tài)與動態(tài)、語言符號觀、語言系統(tǒng)觀、語音學以及語言和文字的關(guān)系六個方面進行比對,考察索緒爾與博杜恩具體語言學思想的異同。3.概括索緒爾與博杜恩語言學思想在學界的影響,分析造成二者語言學影響方面差異的原因,對目前語言學界對索緒爾個人成就的評價進行反思和重新定位。本研究以索緒爾與博杜恩的相關(guān)論述為基礎,論證二者語言學思想的相似性,這樣得出的結(jié)論較為可靠,利于呈現(xiàn)博杜恩在現(xiàn)代語言學方面的成就。本研究采用直接來源與背景影響相結(jié)合,個人貢獻與學術(shù)歷史相結(jié)合的方法,強調(diào)在歷史影響下的個人研究貢獻,利于更加客觀地評價某位學者或某語言學理論在語言學史上的貢獻或地位。
[Abstract]:Saussure has always been recognized as the "father of modern linguistics" in the field of linguistics, but in fact, before Saussure, Polish-Russian linguist Bodun has put forward the core viewpoint of the theory of general linguistics. Through the collation and interpretation of Bodun's thought of general linguistics, we find that there are many similarities between Bodun and Saussure's theory of linguistics, and Bodun has more foresight in the thought of general linguistics. This has forced us to question the originality of Saussure's linguistic thought and to re-examine his linguistic contributions and his position in the history of linguistics. This study mainly refers to the course of General Linguistics (translated by Gao Mingkai), the manuscript of General Linguistics (collated by Yu Xiuying) and the Collection of Proceedings of General Linguistics (translated by Yang Yanchun). Saussure and Bodun's linguistic thoughts are collated and compared in order to reveal the similarities of their linguistic theories. It is not difficult to find out from the results of comparison that some common concepts or ideas in general linguistics, such as language and speech, static and dynamic classification and phonemes, can basically be expressed in Bodun's paper. This study refers to a large number of references in the literature of Bodun and Saussure. Finally, it can be found that Bodun is the forerunner of general linguistic theory, and Saussure's linguistic view is not obviously innovative. The latter's contribution should be reflected in the systematic arrangement and dissemination of general linguistic theories. This research mainly includes three parts: 1. This paper investigates the origin of Saussure's linguistic comparison with Bodun's linguistics, and discusses the possibility of Saussure's linguistic thought drawing lessons from Bodun's thought, including three aspects: (1) Saussure's achievements in academic creation and his mental state; (2) the foundation and process of the course of Common Linguistics, (3) the academic contacts between Bodun and Saussure. This paper compares Saussure's specific linguistic thoughts with Bodun's, and compares them in linguistic research objects and their relationship with other disciplines, language and speech, static and dynamic, linguistic symbols, linguistic systems, etc. By comparing the six aspects of phonetics and the relationship between language and writing, this paper examines the similarities and differences between Saussure and Bodun's specific linguistic thoughts. This paper summarizes the influence of Saussure's and Bodun's linguistic thoughts on the academic field, analyzes the causes of their differences in linguistic influence, and rethinks and reorientates the current evaluation of Saussure's personal achievements in the field of linguistics. This study is based on Saussure and Bodun's related argumentation to demonstrate the similarities of their linguistic ideas. The conclusion is relatively reliable, which is conducive to the presentation of Bodun's achievements in modern linguistics. In this study, the direct source and background influence, personal contribution and academic history are combined to emphasize the contribution of individual research under the influence of history. It is helpful to evaluate more objectively the contribution or status of a certain scholar or linguistic theory in the history of linguistics.
