        美國著名音樂教育專家約翰·法爾阿本德致力于研究兒童音樂教育,他是哈特福德大學音樂教育系主任,也是前任美國柯達伊協(xié)會會長。他的名字出現(xiàn)在世界各地的音樂教育活動中,他的成功基于他對音樂教育的不懈追求和努力。本文以美國多元文化為背景,從約翰·法爾阿本德個人的成長經歷切入,旨在對其本人及音樂教學法作初步探究。筆者多次、多年與法爾阿本德本人接觸和學習,用第一手資料解析其音樂教學法的成因及內容。文章首先通過對美國大環(huán)境及法爾阿本德個人生活的了解,分析出其音樂教學法形成的背景及原因,目的是為了更好的理解和掌握他的音樂教學法；其后,文章圍繞《會話式視唱練耳》及《音樂入門》這兩套教材為主要內容,它們是法爾阿本德音樂教學法的集大成者。文章結合了中國音樂教育的現(xiàn)狀,加入了筆者的個人觀點,使對法爾阿本德及其音樂教學法研究更具比較性,并期望能從中獲得一些啟示和借鑒。

    Dr. John Feierabend is considered one of the leading authorities on music and movement development in early childhood. He is a Professor of Music and the Director of the Music Education Division at The Hartt School of the University of Hartford and is a past President of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators. Dr. Feierabend go through both in the United States and abroad to hold many lectures and presentations. This thesis is researched on the first step about Feierabend’s Pedagogy, based on the multicultural background of U.S. and the personal growth experience on John Feierabend.Author from this thesis study with Dr. Feierabend from2007and got the first materials about him. At the beginning, the thesis talk about the multicultural background of U.S. and the personal growth experience on John Feierabend. Through all of that we can know the reason and factor------why Feierabend established his pedagogy which is the new one on the world. And then, the main part of this thesis is the contents and characteristic about Feierabend’s Pedagogy with "Conversational Solfege"&"The First Step in Music" which are wrote by John Feierabend. Combining the situation about China and adding the personal idea from author, this thesis becomes Three-Dimensional and comprehensive.
