【摘要】: 查爾斯·艾夫斯(Charles Ives1874—1954)是二十世紀(jì)上半葉美國(guó)杰出的作曲家之一。由于多年來(lái),國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)艾夫斯的研究多側(cè)重于他對(duì)音樂(lè)傳統(tǒng)的反叛與創(chuàng)新上,本文試圖以他的代表作品《新英格蘭三地》為例,在肯定艾夫斯現(xiàn)代獨(dú)創(chuàng)性的基礎(chǔ)上,客觀地論述他在音樂(lè)思想、音樂(lè)風(fēng)格、音樂(lè)素材與創(chuàng)作手法等方面與音樂(lè)傳統(tǒng),尤其是歐洲藝術(shù)音樂(lè)傳統(tǒng)的密切聯(lián)系,以求對(duì)艾夫斯在美國(guó)音樂(lè)史上承前啟后的作用有更深刻的認(rèn)識(shí)和理解,并對(duì)我們了解美國(guó)音樂(lè)的發(fā)展內(nèi)涵有所幫助和啟發(fā),以資借鑒。 《新英格蘭三地》是由三個(gè)樂(lè)章組成的管弦樂(lè)套曲,創(chuàng)作于艾夫斯音樂(lè)生涯的頂峰時(shí)期,是他最成熟的代表作品之一。這部作品集中體現(xiàn)了艾夫斯多樣性的創(chuàng)作特征,即美國(guó)流行音樂(lè)傳統(tǒng)、新教音樂(lè)傳統(tǒng)、歐洲藝術(shù)音樂(lè)傳統(tǒng)及花樣繁多的現(xiàn)代創(chuàng)新巧妙地融合在作品當(dāng)中。盡管樂(lè)曲采用的多調(diào)性、無(wú)調(diào)性、復(fù)節(jié)奏、音簇等現(xiàn)代手法,一直是眾多音樂(lè)學(xué)家主要關(guān)注的對(duì)象。而本文的寫作目的則是要透過(guò)這些令人矚目的創(chuàng)新,深入發(fā)掘其背后的傳統(tǒng)根基。文章采用步步深入的寫作方式,分三個(gè)章節(jié)加以論述: 一,介紹《新英格蘭三地》的一般情況,包括大致內(nèi)容、創(chuàng)作時(shí)間、首演狀況等。此外,為了解《新英格蘭三地》多樣性風(fēng)格形成的過(guò)程,文章簡(jiǎn)要回顧了艾夫斯此前走過(guò)的創(chuàng)作歷程,,其中著重講述了他從父親喬治與帕克教授那里接受的音樂(lè)傳統(tǒng)教育。 二,對(duì)《新英格蘭三地》三個(gè)樂(lè)章的音樂(lè)本體分別進(jìn)行扼要的藝術(shù)分析。著重于最能體現(xiàn)其傳統(tǒng)特征的方面,如音樂(lè)主題、調(diào)性和聲及總體結(jié)構(gòu)等。 三,嘗試從理論高度對(duì)《新英格蘭三地》中的傳統(tǒng)因素進(jìn)行深化和總結(jié)。主要從音樂(lè)本體、音樂(lè)風(fēng)格、音樂(lè)思想三方面加以論述。
[Abstract]:Charles Ives (Charles Ives1874 - 1954) is one of the outstanding composers of the United States in the first half of the twentieth Century. For many years, the study of Ives at home and abroad focused on his rebellion and innovation on music tradition. This article tried to take his representative works < three land of new England > as an example to affirm the foundation of Ives's modern originality On the basis of this, he objectively discusses his close relationship with music tradition, especially the European art and music tradition in the aspects of music thought, musical style, music material and creative techniques, in order to have a deeper understanding and understanding of Ives's role in the history of American music and to understand the development of American music. Help and inspire, in order to draw lessons from.
"New England three places" is a string orchestra composed of three movements. It was created at the peak of Ives's musical career. It is one of his most mature representative works. This work concentrates on the creative features of Ives's diversity, namely, the American pop music tradition, the Protestant music tradition, the European tradition of art and music, and the variety of patterns. In spite of the multitonic, untonal, complex rhythm and cluster of modern techniques used in music, it has always been the main object of many musicologists. The purpose of this article is to explore the traditional foundations behind them through these remarkable innovations. The way is divided into three chapters.
First, introduce the general situation of "the three places of new England", including the general content, the time of creation and the state of the premiere. In addition, in order to understand the process of the formation of "the three places of new England", the article briefly reviews the history of Ives's previous creation, which focuses on the music biography he received from his father, George and Professor Parke. Education.
Two, the artistic analysis of the music noumenon of "three places in new England > three movement" is carried out respectively. The emphasis is on the aspects that can most reflect the traditional features, such as the theme of music, the harmonics and the overall structure, and so on.
