【摘要】：由馬丁在20世紀90年代提出的評價理論是在系統(tǒng)功能語言學的人際意義基礎上發(fā)展起來的。該理論由態(tài)度、介入和級差三個子系統(tǒng)組成。它所關心的是從語篇語義層面而非社會語境層面探討口頭或書面語篇中所蘊含的人際意義。具體地說,評價理論適合于從詞匯選擇的角度分析語篇中作者所蘊含的態(tài)度。換句話說,通過從態(tài)度、介入和級差三個維度對作者所使用的詞項進行探究,可以揭示出作者所持的態(tài)度。評價理論中的態(tài)度系統(tǒng)關注的是作者對某個人或某件事的感覺,包括某人情緒上的起伏,對某人行為的判斷以及對某物的評價和鑒賞等。態(tài)度系統(tǒng)可進一步劃分為情感、判斷和鑒賞三個次范疇。近年來,評價理論被廣泛應用于語篇分析,文學作品是該理論應用的新興領域。《致我們終將逝去的青春》(簡稱《致青春》)是辛夷塢于2007年創(chuàng)作的暢銷小說。該小說2013年被改編成同名電影,一經(jīng)上映即引起轟動,國內(nèi)外許多影評家對電影進行了褒貶不一的點評,從而帶動原著小說再一次受到年輕人的瘋狂追捧。辛夷塢是當下最受歡迎的80后女作家之一,青春文學新領軍人物,獨創(chuàng)“暖傷青春”系列女性情感小說。小說《致青春》主要敘述了男女主人公陳孝正和鄭微在大學期間以及大學畢業(yè)之后的情感糾葛。本文嘗試以評價理論的態(tài)度系統(tǒng)為理論框架探討辛夷塢的《致青春》,目的是幫助讀者更深入地了解女主人公鄭微的性格以及她在經(jīng)歷情感創(chuàng)傷之后的蛻變,從而揭示她的成長和成熟。以評價理論的態(tài)度次系統(tǒng)為理論基礎,本文主要探討以下兩個問題:⑴在每一階段中,作者如何通過態(tài)度資源表達鄭微的情感和態(tài)度?態(tài)度系統(tǒng)中的情感、判斷和鑒賞資源如何共同作用從而構建鄭微的性格?⑵對比每一階段的態(tài)度資源,思考從中反映出鄭微在態(tài)度和情感上怎樣的變化,如何揭示了她的成長和成熟?為了展開研究,本文節(jié)選原著小說中的9章,分別是第一章,第四章至第七章,第八章,第十二章,第十六章和第十八章。分析過程分為五個階段:⑴鄭微剛進入大學的階段;⑵鄭微遇上陳孝正以及追求他的階段;⑶鄭微和陳孝正在一起的階段;⑷鄭微和陳孝正分手的階段;⑸鄭微和陳孝正重逢的階段。研究過程中我們采取定性與定量研究相結(jié)合的方法。在每一階段的數(shù)據(jù)分析中,我們首先收集與鄭微有關的描寫和話語,標注并統(tǒng)計其中的態(tài)度資源并將其分類(情感類、判斷類和鑒賞類),通過圖表展示每一階段態(tài)度資源的分布(包括不同次范疇的數(shù)目和百分比)以及評價意義的實現(xiàn)。通過研究,現(xiàn)將主要結(jié)論歸納總結(jié)如下:起初鄭微是一個活潑開朗的、勇敢的、堅持不懈的、敏感的也有點任性的女孩。在被陳孝正拋棄,心靈受到創(chuàng)傷之后,她變得比以前更成熟。盡管她的本性沒變,真誠、熱情、善良,但在著裝和行為舉止方面卻比從前更得體,她不再像從前那樣想到什么就脫口而出,她學會了在公眾場合掩飾自己的真實情緒。即使面對內(nèi)心深處的巨大苦楚,她也不會顯得歇斯底里。她沒有從前那般沖動和任性,她已經(jīng)學會了控制自己的情緒。從評價理論的角度賞析小說《致青春》是一個全新的嘗試。本論文證實了將評價理論應用于分析中文小說的可行性,同時提供了一個獨特的視角來理解《致青春》中女主人公的性格及小說的語言學特征。
