自1980年Lakoff和Johnson的《我們賴以生存的隱喻》一書出版以來,隱喻作為認(rèn)知機(jī)制的研究給傳統(tǒng)修辭學(xué)帶來了一場巨變。隱喻隨之成為學(xué)術(shù)界關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn),然而,轉(zhuǎn)喻研究卻一直扮演著“灰姑娘”的角色。20世紀(jì)80年代,轉(zhuǎn)喻的研究寥寥無幾。90年代后期,轉(zhuǎn)喻研究逐漸受到重視,一些專著和論文集相繼出版。近年來,轉(zhuǎn)喻研究也逐漸引起不同領(lǐng)域的學(xué)者的關(guān)注。認(rèn)知語言學(xué)認(rèn)為轉(zhuǎn)喻的實(shí)質(zhì)是一種認(rèn)知過程,即某個(gè)概念實(shí)體(喻體)為處于同一認(rèn)知域或者理性認(rèn)知模型中的另一概念實(shí)體(喻標(biāo))提供心理通道。小說這種文學(xué)體裁有其特殊性。文學(xué)語言雖源于生活,但作者為了追求文學(xué)藝術(shù)效果與美學(xué)價(jià)值,往往加強(qiáng)其修飾甚至改造。但轉(zhuǎn)喻作為一種普遍的思維方式,在文學(xué)語言及日常語言中也充當(dāng)著重要的角色。錢鐘書的長篇小說《圍城》家喻戶曉,被譽(yù)為“喻海明珠”,為文學(xué)、美學(xué)、語言學(xué)等研究提供了豐富的語料。其中,語言學(xué)家從翻譯學(xué)、語用學(xué)、認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的角度對(duì)其進(jìn)行過不少研究。但以《圍城》整本著作為語料,從轉(zhuǎn)喻的角度分析該著作的研究微乎其微,因此本文擬從認(rèn)知轉(zhuǎn)喻的角度來詳細(xì)分析轉(zhuǎn)喻在《圍城》中的語篇銜接和連貫功能是如何體現(xiàn)的。本文通過質(zhì)性研究分...
