【摘要】：因果關(guān)系是小句關(guān)系的一種。它可以通過不同的因果關(guān)系標(biāo)記語來實(shí)現(xiàn)，例如because, so, thus等詞。因此，目前的研究主要是通過因果關(guān)系標(biāo)記語來研究顯性因果關(guān)系。不同的學(xué)者對(duì)因果關(guān)系有著不同的分類。在1976年韓禮德和哈桑提出了幾種因果關(guān)系，即概括因果關(guān)系，具體因果關(guān)系，，概括倒置因果關(guān)系，條件關(guān)系以及方向關(guān)系。 因果關(guān)系標(biāo)記語是話語標(biāo)記語中的一種。它是研究因果關(guān)系的工具和媒介。對(duì)于話語標(biāo)記的研究很多，但是將他們與小句關(guān)系相聯(lián)系，研究在特定寫作類型中的因果關(guān)系關(guān)系為數(shù)較少。 本文旨在研究因果關(guān)系標(biāo)記語在英語、中介語以及漢語學(xué)術(shù)論文期刊文章中的應(yīng)用。為了達(dá)到研究目的，作者選擇了30篇學(xué)術(shù)期刊論文作為語料，其中10篇論文來自于語言學(xué)雜志,10篇來自于中國應(yīng)用語言學(xué)，10篇來自中國語文。本研究通過分析因果關(guān)系標(biāo)記語在學(xué)術(shù)期刊論文中的語義特點(diǎn)及頻率分布情況，從而確定因果關(guān)系并將其分類，繼而得出學(xué)術(shù)期刊論文中不同因果關(guān)系的使用及分布特點(diǎn)。 研究結(jié)果表明在30篇學(xué)術(shù)論文期刊中共有553處因果關(guān)系，這說明因果關(guān)系在學(xué)術(shù)文章普遍應(yīng)用。四種因果關(guān)系的分布表明概括和具體因果關(guān)系以及概括倒置因果關(guān)系是最常見的因果關(guān)系：它們的總和占到總數(shù)的90%以上。而條件關(guān)系和方向關(guān)系卻鮮為使用。另一方面，雖然英語文章，中介語文章和中文文章在使用因果關(guān)系上數(shù)量大體相同，但它們?nèi)咦畲蟮牟煌谟谌咴谝蚬栽捳Z標(biāo)記語以及具體和概括以及倒置因果關(guān)系的使用。 本文的研究分析結(jié)果也為英語學(xué)習(xí)者和教學(xué)者提供了幾點(diǎn)建議，以便使他們更好的學(xué)習(xí)和傳授因果關(guān)系及因果性話語標(biāo)記語的使用。
