AIS have been widely used by different business organization as most of the business executives now realize the significance of the system (Filed et al., 2001). Although there are some cost associated with installing and maintaining such system the benefits of the system in most of the situations outclassed its cost. Realizing the significance of the accounting information system and the way it has been serving business organizations in different parts of the world, efforts will be made in this paper to critically evaluate the significance of accounting information and how the system has been adding value to organizations. Managers working in different areas of business organizations are benefiting from the use of AIS and significance is not just limited to the sales and marketing rather the whole organization and the different functions that business organization perform could be benefited from the use of AIS (Wang & Strong, 1996). Essentially the study on hand will be directed towards finding the real value and influence of AIS on business organizations.
