Abstract:

Hepatocellular carcinoma is the third most common death-related type of cancer. The treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma patients require multidisciplinary technical participation with the specific implemention depending on the cancer staging, physical status of patients and liver function. In the past few years, a great progression has been made in operation therapy and local treatment of Hepatocellular carcinoma by increasing the short-term survival rate. But it’s still a huge problem the recurrence and metastasisi of tumor issues. For patients with adcanced cancer, Interventional therapy is a widely used minimally invasive treatment in recent years. By injecting some special agent into the tumor vessels or other non-cascular cavities, the tumor issue would obtain an inhibition of the growth and induction of the apoptosis of cancer cells. This article has taken a depth analysis on interventional therapy mechanism, including the regulation of the immune system and cancer-related signal pathway, and provide new inspiration and theoretical supporting for therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma.
Key words: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), interventional therapy, treatment mechanism
