【摘要】：正人生最大的快樂(lè)莫過(guò)于親眼看到自己參與播下的種子出苗、發(fā)育、長(zhǎng)大成為根深、葉茂的大樹(shù)。慶祝學(xué)報(bào)創(chuàng)刊30周年,我嘗到了這種快樂(lè)!故事要從更為遙遠(yuǎn)的70多年前談起,那時(shí)我們一批留學(xué)海外的青年認(rèn)為學(xué)到了使美國(guó)富強(qiáng)的關(guān)鍵技術(shù)——農(nóng)業(yè)工程,就決心把它移植到當(dāng)時(shí)貧窮的祖國(guó),以促進(jìn)其崛起和富強(qiáng),為此還發(fā)起成立了"中國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)工程學(xué)會(huì)(籌)"。我們滿(mǎn)懷信心,不失時(shí)機(jī)地回國(guó),卻遇到了一段不堪回首的歷史。非常簡(jiǎn)單明確的事實(shí)是:農(nóng)業(yè)工程是包括農(nóng)業(yè)機(jī)械化的,而且當(dāng)時(shí)我們所學(xué)的農(nóng)業(yè)工程的主要內(nèi)容也就是農(nóng)業(yè)機(jī)械化,但萬(wàn)萬(wàn)想不到問(wèn)題竟會(huì)出在這兩者的關(guān)系上。

We are full of confidence, do not miss the opportunity to return home, but met a very simple and clear cannot bear to think of the past history. The fact is that the agricultural engineering is including agricultural mechanization, and the main content that we learned in the agricultural engineering is the agricultural mechanization, but never think the problem should be in this relationship between the two.
