【摘要】: 寫作,,作為人類交流的一種重要方式,是深嵌入不同文化背景中的。在對比修辭研究領(lǐng)域,許多學(xué)者的研究結(jié)果表明英漢語在語篇結(jié)構(gòu)方面存在一定的差異,即漢語屬于“螺旋型”,“繞彎子式”,而英語屬于直線式。然而,以往這些對比修辭研究都過于集中在說明文這一體裁上。書評,作為評價出版物信譽(yù)的工具,在學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域越來越受到重視。然而,對書評這一重要體裁的研究卻長期被忽視了。本文從對比修辭的角度比較英美學(xué)術(shù)書評與漢語學(xué)術(shù)書評之間的差異有助于填補(bǔ)這一學(xué)術(shù)空白。鑒于目前國內(nèi)外尚未發(fā)現(xiàn)有關(guān)書評的對比研究,本文的研究具有可行性及一定的理論和現(xiàn)實意義。 為從整體上把握文化對語篇修辭策略的影響,本文從語篇的宏觀和微觀兩方面,對漢英書評進(jìn)行對比修辭研究。從宏觀上,文章比較了兩種文化背景的書評在修辭結(jié)構(gòu)上的差異。結(jié)果表明兩種書評在結(jié)構(gòu)上存在一定的差異。英語書評側(cè)重描述,漢語書評側(cè)重評價:英語書評推薦性強(qiáng),漢語書評推薦性弱。修辭結(jié)構(gòu)上的差異與漢英文化背景和風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣有很大聯(lián)系。在微觀上,文章探索了2種書評在評價策略上的差異。研究結(jié)果顯示英語書評批評性較強(qiáng),漢語書評批評性較弱;中國人較謹(jǐn)慎含蓄,而英美人較大膽直露,這同樣體現(xiàn)了兩種不同的文化觀念。
