【摘要】：如今,英語(yǔ)已成為了世界上最重要的交流語(yǔ)言。在學(xué)術(shù)界,英語(yǔ)也被廣泛應(yīng)用,并成為眾多學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著和期刊的通用語(yǔ)言。因此,書(shū)面英語(yǔ),尤其是針對(duì)書(shū)面英語(yǔ)這種體裁的體裁分析得到了學(xué)者的關(guān)注。前言部分作為整篇文章的點(diǎn)睛之筆,也被認(rèn)為是最棘手的部分,并得到了研究者最多的關(guān)注。在這眾多的研究成果中,John Swales的“Create A Research Space”模式是被最廣泛接受的。 本研究是對(duì)英文前言和中文前言的對(duì)比分析,旨在探索兩種語(yǔ)言的前言在體裁結(jié)構(gòu)上的不同。本文選取了40篇語(yǔ)言學(xué)和語(yǔ)言教學(xué)領(lǐng)域的科研論文前言形成語(yǔ)料庫(kù):20篇英文前言分別出自期刊English For Specific Purposes和Language Teaching Research; 20篇中文前言分別出自《現(xiàn)代外語(yǔ)》期刊和《外語(yǔ)教學(xué)與研究》期刊。在研究中,Swales的CARS模式被作為了分析標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。研究結(jié)果表明,近年來(lái)的英文前言的結(jié)構(gòu)已不再和CARS模式完全契合,甚至出現(xiàn)了一些附加語(yǔ)輪。如,“背景信息”語(yǔ)輪并未包含在CARS模式中,但卻出現(xiàn)在許多的英文前言中。中文前言的體裁結(jié)構(gòu)與CARS模式基本吻合,但由于兩種語(yǔ)言文化的差異,中文前言中也出現(xiàn)了特有的一些步驟,如作者從中文科研論文前言中總結(jié)出了新的語(yǔ)輪:“附加信息”。在一些語(yǔ)輪中,如“文獻(xiàn)綜述”,出于中國(guó)文化中的謙讓和內(nèi)斂,中文前言與英文前言有所不同,作者只對(duì)其研究領(lǐng)域中的研究成果進(jìn)行綜述,并不進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià)和批評(píng)。 本文的主要目的在于對(duì)中英文前言進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析,總結(jié)兩者之間的異同;并將中英文前言的體裁結(jié)構(gòu)與CARS模式進(jìn)行對(duì)比。目的在于為英文與中文學(xué)術(shù)寫(xiě)作教學(xué)提供幫助。
