【摘要】： 隨著國際學(xué)術(shù)交流水平的提高，科技文獻(xiàn)的國際發(fā)表與收錄狀況成為衡量其科研水平的重要參考。英文摘要是國際信息檢索系統(tǒng)收錄科技文獻(xiàn)的主要依據(jù)。由于受非母語寫作水平的限制，缺乏對(duì)英文摘要文體特點(diǎn)的了解和有針對(duì)性的寫作指導(dǎo)，許多中國科研工作者的英文摘要不符合國際規(guī)范，，在一定程度上限制了國際學(xué)術(shù)認(rèn)同與交流的機(jī)會(huì)。 為了深入了解國內(nèi)外英文摘要寫作水平的差異，發(fā)現(xiàn)中國作者英文摘要中存在的問題，探索切實(shí)可行的寫作指導(dǎo)原則，本文借鑒美國工程索引Engineering Information(Ei)對(duì)工程類論文英文摘要寫作的指導(dǎo)要求，以文體學(xué)及功能語法的相關(guān)理論原則為依據(jù)，對(duì)國內(nèi)外不同層次的英文摘要進(jìn)行了微觀文體特征及宏觀信息結(jié)構(gòu)方面的數(shù)據(jù)收集及對(duì)比分析。作者采用隨機(jī)抽樣法，分別從美國著名工程類期刊、被Ei收錄的國內(nèi)工程類核心期刊、未被Ei收錄的國內(nèi)工程類核心期刊三個(gè)樣本庫中，各抽取2006年發(fā)表的論文摘要三十篇，從明確性，簡(jiǎn)潔性及信息性三個(gè)角度，比較三類英文摘要在時(shí)態(tài)、語態(tài)、人稱、長度、句式復(fù)雜性及銜接手段、名詞短語構(gòu)成和主位推進(jìn)模式方面的主要異同。 研究獲得以下幾點(diǎn)發(fā)現(xiàn)：1)中外摘要在語言特征層面存在不同程度的差異，其中科技語匯的構(gòu)成及句式結(jié)構(gòu)較為相似，但在摘要長度、動(dòng)詞時(shí)態(tài)、語態(tài)與人稱方面有較明顯的差異；2)在宏觀信息結(jié)構(gòu)層面，英語作者的文摘內(nèi)容更為完善，信息布局更為清晰明確；3)中國一般水平英語作者與英語作者摘要之間差異較大，而已被Ei收錄的中國期刊摘要?jiǎng)t既呈現(xiàn)出中國作者文體特征的共性，又更加接近國際規(guī)范水準(zhǔn)。 在此基礎(chǔ)上，本文分析了國內(nèi)論文英語摘要在文體風(fēng)格及語言表達(dá)方面的主要問題，并對(duì)工程論文的摘要寫作提出了具體建議，以期促進(jìn)國內(nèi)科研工作者英文摘要寫作能力的進(jìn)步，從而提高國內(nèi)工程類論文在國際上的發(fā)表率和索引率。
