基于深度感知和運動感知的立體視覺舒適度研究

【摘要】:立體技術(shù)(3D Technology)可以帶給人以身臨其境的感覺,在許多領(lǐng)域中得到了廣泛的應(yīng)用。但是,迄今為止的一些立體產(chǎn)品不可避免地會帶給人不舒適感,這些不足已成為制約立體技術(shù)和產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展的主要瓶頸。因此,開展立體視覺舒適度研究具有至關(guān)重要的意義和價值。本文主要從深度感知和運動感知兩個方面對影響立體視覺舒適度的因素開展了深入的理論分析和大量的實驗研究。本文主要工作內(nèi)容包括以下幾個方面。立體視覺舒適融像問題,是立體顯示舒適度研究的關(guān)鍵問題之一。本文提出了立體視覺舒適融合限(Comfortbale Fusion Limits,CFL)的概念,并將立體視覺舒適融合限作為立體視覺舒適融像的評判標(biāo)準(zhǔn),研究了影響隨機點立體圖(Random Dot Stereogram,RDS)舒適融合限的因素。通過主觀實驗研究了不同因素對立體視覺舒適融合限的影響,提出了影響CFL的預(yù)測模型。實驗結(jié)果表明,用所提出的預(yù)測模型計算得到的CFL值和實際測量值具有很強的相關(guān)性。立體圖像的顯示景深與人眼生理景深的差異,對舒適觀看立體圖像具有較大的影響。本文推導(dǎo)了基于瞳孔直徑的人眼生理景深(Depth of Field,DOF)視覺模型,首次提出了顯示景深與人眼生理景深的差異參數(shù)k,并通過實驗研究了k對立體視覺舒適度的影響,建立了基于參數(shù)k的立體視覺舒適度模型。實驗結(jié)果表明,瞳孔直徑是影響人眼生理景深的關(guān)鍵生理參數(shù);而與瞳孔直徑密切相關(guān)的差異參數(shù)k是評價立體圖像觀看舒適度的重要指標(biāo)。對立體圖像序列中物體運動狀況的感知,會極大地影響觀看者的立體感受。本文設(shè)計并制作了動態(tài)隨機點立體圖像序列,通過分析序列中物體運動方向、運動速度、運動加速度對立體視覺舒適度的影響,提出了基于深度運動、固定深度平面上的水平運動和垂直運動的三種立體視覺舒適度模型。實驗結(jié)果表明,基于三種運動模型的計算結(jié)果與主觀評價結(jié)果一致性很高。在時分立體顯示技術(shù)中,左、右眼圖像的時間差會導(dǎo)致觀看者感知到的視差和深度發(fā)生變化,容易產(chǎn)生視疲勞;跁r分立體顯示設(shè)備,本文建立了因垂直運動和深度運動導(dǎo)致的視差及深度變化模型,提出了采用運動補償方式消除視差和深度變化的方法,并利用主觀實驗驗證了所提出模型和方法的有效性。
[Abstract]:Stereoscopic technology (3D technology) has been widely used in many fields. However, up to now, some stereoscopic products inevitably bring people a sense of discomfort, which has become the main bottleneck restricting the development of stereoscopic technology and industry. Therefore, it is of great significance and value to study the comfort of stereoscopic vision. In this paper, the factors affecting the comfort of stereoscopic vision are analyzed theoretically and a lot of experiments are carried out from depth perception and motion perception. The main work of this paper includes the following aspects. The comfortable fusion of stereoscopic vision is one of the key problems in the study of stereoscopic display comfort. In this paper, the concept of comfortbale fusion limit (CFL) is proposed, and the cozy fusion limit of stereoscopic vision is taken as the criterion to judge the fusion of stereo visual comfort. The factors influencing the cozy fusion limit of Random Dot Steregrammogram (RDS) are studied. The influence of different factors on the fusion limit of stereo vision comfort was studied by subjective experiments and the prediction model of CFL was proposed. The experimental results show that there is a strong correlation between the CFL values calculated by the proposed prediction model and the actual measured values. The difference between the display depth of stereoscopic image and the physiological depth of human eye has great influence on the comfortable viewing of stereoscopic image. In this paper, the visual model of depth of field based on pupil diameter is derived, and the difference parameter k between the depth of field and the depth of human eye is proposed for the first time, and the effect of k on the comfort of stereoscopic vision is studied experimentally. A model of stereo vision comfort based on parameter k is established. The experimental results show that pupil diameter is a key physiological parameter affecting the physiological depth of field in human eyes, and the difference parameter k, which is closely related to pupil diameter, is an important index for evaluating the viewing comfort of stereoscopic images. The perception of object motion in stereo image sequence will greatly affect the stereoscopic perception of the viewer. In this paper, the dynamic random spot stereo image sequence is designed and made. By analyzing the effects of the moving direction, velocity and acceleration of the object in the sequence on the stereo vision comfort, the paper puts forward the motion based on depth. Three stereo visual comfort models of horizontal motion and vertical motion on the fixed depth plane. The experimental results show that the calculated results based on the three motion models are in good agreement with the subjective evaluation results. In time division stereoscopic display, the time difference between left and right eye images will lead to the change of parallax and depth perceived by the viewer, which is easy to produce visual fatigue. Based on the time division stereoscopic display equipment, the model of parallax and depth variation caused by vertical motion and depth motion is established, and the method of eliminating parallax and depth variation by motion compensation is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed model and method is verified by subjective experiments.
