海亞姆魯拜詩歌的翻譯與傳播研究

【摘要】:本文是以海亞姆魯拜詩歌的翻譯與傳播為對象而展開的個案研究。主要內容圍繞兩個方面展開:一、考察海亞姆詩歌在英、漢文化圈的譯介傳播過程以及影響其傳播的多種因素;二、討論詩歌翻譯過程中語言風格、形式、意象等方面移植與再現的可能性和可操作性。海亞姆詩歌在英國的成功譯介堪稱是經典案例,其英譯傳播經歷了“被邊緣化”到“被經典化”這樣一個異常曲折的傳奇過程。與之相對,海亞姆詩歌在中國的譯介則相對穩(wěn)定,成果頗豐,顯露出強勁的發(fā)展勢頭。主要特點表現為:首先,以英譯本為中介進行轉譯的漢譯本居多;其次,其譯介歷程與中國社會歷史環(huán)境的變遷有著緊密的聯系。海亞姆詩歌被翻譯為漢語的過程中,其詩歌形式、語言風格、意象內涵都發(fā)生了不同程度的改變,尤其是從英語轉譯的漢譯本表現更為突出。漢譯者們在翻譯外國格律詩時,或在譯入語文學系統中選擇一種與源語詩歌相對應的形式;或表現出較靈活的創(chuàng)造性,根據原詩的格律加以仿制創(chuàng)造新的詩歌形式。但就譯詩的質量來說,更多是與譯者的個人能力和藝術修養(yǎng)有關,而不是詩歌形式決定的。海亞姆詩歌中運用了很多生動的意象來表達思想內容,這些意象寄寓了詩人對神、人、自然的哲學思考。意象在翻譯過程中發(fā)生改變是由多種原因造成的:客觀上看,是由意象語言的民族文化特性引起的;主觀上看,一方面是譯者對原文理解、對源語文化感受和認識不同的結果,另一方面與譯者本人譯詩的風格、審美旨趣等多種因素有很大關系。海亞姆詩歌在不同語言文化中的經典化進程提供了一種獨特的跨文化譯介范式。總結其成功傳播的經驗,能夠為中國文學的對外譯介提供有價值的參考。同時海亞姆詩歌的漢譯涉及到很多復雜的翻譯問題和現象,能夠為詩歌翻譯提供實踐層面的指導。
[Abstract]:This paper is a case study on the translation and dissemination of Hayamruba's poems. The main contents focus on two aspects: first, to investigate the process of translation and dissemination of Hayham's poetry in English and Chinese cultural circles and the various factors affecting its dissemination; second, to discuss the style and form of language in the process of poetry translation. Image and other aspects of transplantation and reproduction of the possibility and maneuverability. The successful translation of Heyam's poems in England is a classic case, and its translation and dissemination has undergone a legendary process of "being marginalized" and "being classical". On the other hand, the translation and introduction of Hayam's poems in China are relatively stable and fruitful, showing a strong momentum of development. The main features are as follows: first, most of the Chinese versions are translated through English translation; secondly, the course of translation is closely related to the changes of Chinese social and historical environment. In the process of translation of Heyam's poems into Chinese, their forms, language styles and image connotations have changed to different degrees, especially in the Chinese versions of English translation. Chinese translators choose a form corresponding to the source poetry in the translation of foreign rhymes or in the translation of the literary system; or they exhibit more flexible creativity and imitate and create new forms of poetry according to the rules of the original poem. However, the quality of translated poetry is more related to the translator's personal ability and artistic accomplishment than to the form of poetry. Heyam's poetry uses many vivid images to express his thoughts, which embodies the poet's philosophical thinking of God, Man and Nature. The change of image in the process of translation is caused by a variety of reasons: objectively, it is caused by the national and cultural characteristics of the image language, and subjectively, on the one hand, it is the result of the translator's understanding of the original text, the perception and understanding of the source language culture. On the other hand, there are many factors related to the style and aesthetic purport of the translator's own poetry translation. The classical process of Heiam's poetry in different languages and cultures provides a unique cross-cultural translation paradigm. Summing up its successful communication experience can provide valuable reference for the translation and introduction of Chinese literature. At the same time, the translation of Heyam's poems into Chinese involves many complicated translation problems and phenomena, which can provide practical guidance for poetry translation.
