【摘要】：近代上海租界建有多座公園,除了華人公園,其余在1928年6月之前均不對(duì)華人開(kāi)放。幾十年間,華人先后以納稅人身份和租界居民身份據(jù)理力爭(zhēng),多次向租界當(dāng)局要求與外僑平等的入園權(quán)利。租界當(dāng)局拒不承認(rèn)華人入園權(quán)利,公開(kāi)宣稱的理由是園小人多,深層原因則是維護(hù)外僑的特權(quán)和歧視華人,實(shí)質(zhì)是殖民主義心態(tài)。20世紀(jì)20年代,英國(guó)對(duì)華政策的調(diào)整、中國(guó)民族主義的持續(xù)高漲以及國(guó)際輿論的壓力,迫使租界當(dāng)局在公園開(kāi)放問(wèn)題上做出讓步。近代上海公園對(duì)華人由禁入到開(kāi)放的過(guò)程,與英帝國(guó)由鼎盛而衰落的過(guò)程同步,與近代中國(guó)民族主義興起過(guò)程同步。透過(guò)這一事件,可以清晰地勾勒出近代中國(guó)民族主義如何在西方殖民主義的刺激下產(chǎn)生并與西方殖民主義相抗?fàn)帯?br/>[Abstract]:There were many parks in the modern Shanghai concession. Except for the Chinese parks, the rest were not open to Chinese until June 1928. For several decades, the Chinese argued on the basis of their status as taxpayers and residents of the concession. The concession authorities have repeatedly demanded from the concession authorities the right to enter the garden on an equal footing with the foreign nationals. The concession authorities refused to recognize the right of the Chinese to enter the garden. The reason publicly claimed that there were too many people in the garden, and the underlying reason was to safeguard the privileges of the aliens and discriminate against the Chinese. The essence is the colonial mentality. In the 1920s, the adjustment of British policy toward China, the continuous upsurge of Chinese nationalism and the pressure of international public opinion. Forcing the concession authorities to make concessions on the issue of park opening. The process from banning the park to opening up to the Chinese in modern Shanghai Park was synchronized with the decline of the British Empire from its peak to decline, and with the rise of nationalism in modern China. Through this incident, It can clearly describe how modern Chinese nationalism came into being under the stimulation of Western colonialism and fought against it.
