身體運(yùn)動(dòng)對(duì)SNARC效應(yīng)的影響
[Abstract]:Since Dehaene et al. (1993) discovered the space-digital response co-coding (Spatial Numerical Association of Response Codes, SNARC effect, the space-digital joint representation has attracted widespread attention. Lochster et al. (2008) for the first time found that when the head turns to the right, Subjects tended to report more large numbers, while those who turned left tended to report more small numbers. According to (embodied cognition), the body plays an important role in the cognitive process. The physical movement experience is closely related to the internal, abstract psychological process and the cognitive process, and the rotation of the head leads to the shift of attention to the direction of rotation. Thus the corresponding spatial-digital representation is activated. The head is a key part of thinking cognition. The movement of the head affects advanced digital cognitive processing, so does the movement of other parts of the body have the same effect? The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of hand movement on digital cognitive processing and the effect of hand and head simultaneous movement on SNARC effect. In this study, a random reporting paradigm was used to compare the number of small numbers reported when subjects were moving left and right. In experiment 1, the subjects did the movement of raising the left hand or the right hand. It was found that the subjects who raised the left hand tended to report small numbers, and those who raised the right hand tended to report large numbers, that is, there was a SNARC effect. In experiment 2, the SNARC effect was not found. In experiment 3, the subjects completed the continuous rotation of the head and the left and right circulation of the hands, and found that both the hand movement and the head movement found the SNARC effect, that is, when the subjects moved to the left and the right, they reported more small numbers. In experiment 4, both head and hand movements were performed. The results showed that the SNARC effect was observed when the movement direction of the hand and the head was the same, but the SNARC effect disappeared when the movement direction of the hand and the head was not the same. The main conclusions of this study are: 1: 1, the movement of hand and head have similar effects on the space-digital joint representation. When the head and hand move simultaneously, the SNARC effect exists when the direction is consistent, but the SNARC effect disappears when the direction is inconsistent. The present study further shows that physical cognition has an effect on spatial-digital joint representation.
