[Abstract]:Historical research can not leave the excavation and utilization of archives. Whether the choice and utilization of the original data is reasonable or not is the key to the success or failure of historical research. Different types of historical materials have their own unique values and functions in historical writing. As a kind of historical data, newspapers can make historical researchers have a sense of "passing through time" back to the present situation of events, and government archives and publications are the accumulation of information produced in the process of government agencies performing official duties, which are a kind of relatively concentrated, accurate and systematic historical materials, and are also the core materials relied on by historical narration. Manuscripts are unpublished personal documents, such as letters, diaries, memoirs, images and audio-visual materials. The unique historical data value of manuscripts can reflect the detailed information and position of the individual; oral historical materials are generally personal data organized by third party records, which can make up for the lack of written materials. The use of manuscripts and oral historical materials enhances the insight into human nature in historical studies.
