【摘要】：像古代中國的"華夷之辯"一樣,古羅馬也以"gens"對"natio"的方式表達了"內-外"、"高-下"的二元區(qū)隔。在《圣經》武加大拉丁文本中,作為羅馬帝國征服對象的以色列人,用實質上是大寫的"natio"指代,以示上帝從萬民中間的特別揀選;而本是古羅馬高貴世系的"gentes",則因非基督的偶像崇拜而被貶為"異教徒"。但基督教在解構古羅馬價值系統(tǒng)的同時,又發(fā)展出了一套新的"區(qū)隔-歧視-排斥"模式,十字軍東征即為典型。從西方文明進程的大歷史尺度來看,高貴的"gens"漸次失落與邊緣化的"natio"慢慢向中心位移,適成鮮明比照,仿佛是在一個微小的聚焦點上折射了一場歷時逾千年的話語競爭或話語戰(zhàn)爭。聯(lián)系實然層面的政治社會文化變遷來分析這場話語戰(zhàn)爭的經典修辭手法,或能為理解當今世界的話語權爭奪策略提供有益的啟示。
[Abstract]:Like the debate between Huayi and Huayi in ancient China, ancient Rome also expressed "inside-outside" and "Gao-Xia" in the way of "gens" to "natio". In the Vulcan Latin text of the Bible, the Israelites, who were conquered by the Roman Empire, were referred to as "natio", which was essentially uppercase, to show God's special choice among the peoples, while the "gentes", which was originally the noble family of ancient Rome, was demoted as a "pagan" because of its non-Christian idolatry. However, Christianity not only deconstructed the value system of ancient Rome, but also developed a new model of "separation, discrimination and exclusion", and the Crusades were typical. From the large historical scale of the process of western civilization, the noble "gens" gradually lost and marginalized "natio" slowly shifted to the center, suitable for sharp contrast, as if in a small focus reflected a discourse competition or discourse war for more than a thousand years. It is possible to analyze the classical rhetorical devices of this discourse war in the light of the political, social and cultural changes at the real level, which may provide useful enlightenment for understanding the strategy of fighting for the right of speech in today's world.
